Trolls under the Bridge Vallejo
I think Vallejo needs to restore this ferry to be the Vallejo Harbor Queen
Trolls under the Bridge. Vallejo has local color.
Mare Island Bridge. The logo needs a little touching up.
Trolls Under the Bridge Vallejo
The path goes under the Mare Island Bridge, past the Trolls Under the Bridge, and comes out at the Vallejo Marina.
This little lake was home to a few ducks and nesting geese.
One entrance to the path from Daniels Ave
There is a fantastic bike fix-it stand where the path approaches the Mare Island Bridge

Nice walking trail from Mare Island Causeway to the high 37 Napa River bridge. Could definitely need some maintenance and landscaping.

Took a walk here with my fiance and dogs and to me it was really nice and it leads to the Vallejo Marina/Waterfront and seeing the art under the bridge is pretty cool. HOWEVER I would highly suggest parking anywhere near the Waterfront/Marina rather than the actual River Park parking lot. So I originally parked near the sidewalk in front of the houses further down, but there were clearly a ton of break ins for the sidewalk parking as there was lots of broken glass. My GPS didn't take me directly to the River Park parking, but when I saw there were cars there I decided maybe I should move my car there instead. That ended up feeling like a bad idea as well as the parking lot is filled with tweakers and homeless people and the dude I parked next to was jacking off in his car. Aside from the unpleasant parking experience the actual trail is a nice for a walk. Once you pass the troll bridge near the marina it's not as packed as the waterfront so it'll be a little nice quiet walk near the water.

We decided to explore River Park in Vallejo to welcome Spring and to get out into the community. This is a very pleasant walking path. We saw lots of friendly people with their friendly dogs on leash. Ducks and nesting geese were in the pond and the native bushes were a profusion of blooms. Towards the Mare Island Bridge, the path turns under the bridge where we met some of Vallejo's local color ... The Trolls Under the Bridge. What a fun surprise to find them waiting for us! They sent us on our way into the Vallejo Marina. We continued past the Sardine Can and a very old ferry boat before retracing our steps. We could have continued all the way down the Vallejo Waterfront if our dog had more energy. LolOver all, a nice place to hike and a fun thing to do in Vallejo.

Believe it or not, I have passed by this park numerous of times and always said I was going to stop by. Finally today, I made it happen. It's a nice short walk near the Napa River. I will definitely be walking out here more when time allows. It's very clean and the grass was cut. Path is very noticeable. There are trash cans along the hike. There is also an area to park. Lots of folks walk their dogs here. Some dogs are on a leash and some are not.

Nice trails that connect to the waterfront park, dog-friendly and beautiful area. Views across the river are nice too. Would be amiss not to mention the sometimes aggressive approach of a few people I've met on the paths there, some homeless, some clearly not. Not enough to keep me away, but enough to keep pepper spray on the key ring.

Great place for a nice walk, jog, or run. Locals definitely know about this park and people love bringing their dogs for a nice stroll. The dirt trail is a loop and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. There's plenty of parking in the lot and around the park as well. You'll enjoy the beautiful flowers and the birds chirping with a great view of the Napa River. If you're feeling like you need a breath of fresh air on an easy trail, this is as good as it gets.
