We had a slide that wouldn't go out. Called in the am and they dispatched Nathan in a mobile unit. Nathan got right to work diagnosing and fixing the problem. I thought the price was more than fair considering that we were already set up in a park and they came to us.

Matt, Jill and Steve, have done an excellent job in providing service for my two travel trailers. I have always found them to be reasonable in price and communicative. They are willing to use parts that I may have ordered (such as additional USB ports, converter, power tongue jack, etc - I sometimes order to save them time). They have recently moved down the street next to the River City RV storage and while there has been an adjustment - they have not missed on their commitment to service and helpfulness. I do not worry if they do not return an email or a call right away - because they always get back to me and I know they can get busy sometimes. I tend to ask a lot of questions and Steve (the tech) has been great in explaining things. I have observed him teaching newer staff how to understand how things work and how to handle the situation. They worked on my small Winnebago and I now have moved to a larger Keystone. The keystone is 5 years old and barely used - even so, it sat out (covered) and needed some tlc. This crew has been great in recommending things and/or a different approach to what I would have done. I do like the benefit of having my RV storage at the same place, so they can get the trailer when parts have arrived and they are ready to do the work. While I cannot speak to other folks issues; for me, I trust this team and am very glad to recommend them.

poor quality and unreliable did a oil change in my 40 ft diesel pusher and left the drain plug and the filter loose and i found out after 800 miles also on another repair replaced my 6 batteries with "rocket" batteries and I drove 600 miles only to find out that 4 of the batteries were dead. one had no water, one had a dead cell he told me to drive back to his shop and he would warranty my batteries his installation failed to ck the water level or clean the corrosion off the cables! most People use a rv to on vacation and should be able to get warranty service on the road!!! their response was to bring my coach back to River City I lost over $1000 having to replace 4-coach batteries in Washington not including loosing several days of my vacation! this operation is un reliable and will let you down on the road. they don't sell quality workmanship or quality products....

I was very pleased with River City's service. I asked that they check my travel trailer's breaks and grease my bearings expecting a significant effort and cost. The inspected the breaks and found they are still good and that they had no grease on them, and discovered disconnected wires that they fixed. They also greased the bearings and the total cost was half what I expected. This indicates to me that River City RV repair is honest and fair. I store my RV with River City Storage (independent business) that is next door, so River City RV repair was able to pick up my trailer from them and return it without me needing to make extra trips. Working with River City RV repairs was great and I will continue to use them, recommending them to others too. Communications with Jill was also very good.

Never again will I take my motorhome back to River City RV repair, the last experience was a deal breaker. I had my motorhome in there for an issue with the refrigerator, not cooling properly. After a week, it was determined the cooling fans on the outside were not working properly, which necessitated removing the unit on the inside. I had complained in the past about staff not protecting the interior of our coach, on two previous occasions I had grease on the front seats and general tracked in dirt on the tile floors and carpets. On this occasion, the same thing, even though I was charged 10% of the labor cost, $475 for "shop supplies" which would assume (obviously incorrectly) that that included plastic or paper to protect the interior flooring. When the coach was finally completed (3 weeks) I inspected the interior only to find grease and dirt all over the tile floor and carpet on the slide where the refrigerator is. Immediately returning to the office, I complained to the Office manager and Matt. Pretty much lip service.... "Oh, I'm sorry..... we had our quality control staff inspect it after it was done and they didn't say anything". Bullshit, no one looked at the unit after it was done or they were blind and didn't give a shit.I insisted it be cleaned by a professional company, not some staff person with a can of carpet cleaner from the grocery store . Waiting for several days, I never heard anything and my phone calls (as is often the case) went unanswered and never returned. I had to drive down there to see what the status was only to be told it would be several more days before the company could get there to clean the carpet and floors. I was finally completed to my satisfaction, but if you're going to charge customers for shop supplies, you should actually use them. I confronted Matt on this very issue, his response is that ALL SHOPS charge 10% of labor. I called around and looked at other invoices I have from the Freightliner and Cummins dealers, no such thing. Maybe 2-3% or some small amount, but no way where they charging 10% of labor costs.Other issues with River City include failure to properly diagnose a failing battery, blaming in on miscommunication with the front office or something like that and they he (Matt) would be retraining this staff on how do properly do a load test on a battery. Really???? And they never return phone calls, so many times the only way I could find out what was going on was to drive there and ask in person. How hard is it to return a phone call?? Apparently it's difficult.Although it's convenient to take our coach there since it's stored next door, never again will I take my coach here. Just thought I would share my experience. Good luck!!

I had them remove, clean, and install new batteries in my motorhome. An appointment was easy to get. The tech Steve was skilled, conscientious, and friendly. He did a thorough job and cleaned up completely afterwards. The pricing was very fair and I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing Rv work.

Jody and his team do phenomenal RV work. Took my '22 Thor Class C Sprinter for some cosmetic body work and the coach looks brand new. Couldn't tell where the scratches and dings were. Great shop and I'm a happy customer.

Scott is awesome! Ask for him. He's a professional Sales Agent there. This place didn't have the specific RV we were looking for and I ended up (unfortunately) buying from Scott's competitor but man, I called Scott 3 weeks after buying from his competition because I trust him more than the other guys in Grants Pass! (I gave those other guys a 5 Star Yelp, but 3 weeks later, when I've called them experiencing problems, they don't even call back and I have an attorney after them so change the other guys' review to a ZERO, not even a one star!) It's easy to treat a person well when they want to give you $$$, but Scott has nothing to gain by assisting me w/ my RV trouble shooting question. However, he's been currently helping me! Wow! Now, don't you think if he can do this without earning any commission from me that he will serve you well?! I believe so. I don't know about other Sales Personnel but Scott from River City RV & Auto Repair is the knowledgable, down to earth, sincere, "Non Salesy" guy to talk to there. Upstanding guy.

I was very unhappy with the service and customer service I received. Took my trailer in on a Monday for hot water heater problem. I was told they would diagnose and call me with what they find. No call all day, when I called right before closing I was told it was working so they want to test it more tomorrow and they would let me know. Next day no call all day, I called 1 hour befor they close and I was told the heating element is bad so they will order one and will arrive tomorrow and it's about 30 min to install. No call Wednesday . So when I called them was told they would check on progress and call me back. No call back. Thursday morning called them and was told they would check on progress told them I will hold. Came back a said just finishing up should be ready in 1 hour. I arrived and was told it's not working it could be a relay and they don't have any. So what does that mean? They check, told them I'll wait. They came back 30 min later and said it was a switch and they don't have any. I was asked if I wanted to take it or wait while they check it out. 2 hours later said it's working now. It was a bad wire connect. 4 days latter misdiagnosis and unneeded part replaced, 2 more misdiagnosed and the owner Matt had very bad attitude and yelled at me saying I was talking down to him, all the while there was another unhappy customer in the office complaining about the same thing and bad customer service. AVOID THIS
