Rice Bowl Express

My go to place whenever I want Asian food in Escalon. who is great and service is awesome as always. If you call in ahead of time you don't have to wait ambience in the restaurant. I like the low light. It's not too bright. I love it.

So I stopped here yesterday for Lunch what a mistake. Clearly something wasn't right I've been sick all night... Food safety is a big concern. SO BE WARNED AN INSPECTION NEEDS TO BE DONE BECAUSE IVE BEEN POISONED... AND IM NOT HAPPY....

Yummy food as always I love the lemon chicken also the fried rice and chow mein. Their bbq is to die for super yum. Potstickers and wontons alway Bangin. Check them out and Enjoy !!!!

Fresh food - tasty - cooked fresh while you wait - which is never a long time. Great family run business - love that the kids work there, including doing their schoolwork there.

I love the garlic chicken combination plate as my husband loves the double chicken rice bowl. If you love spicy mustard definitely need to try theirs. Service is really good and the guy who owns it is very nice!

I love their boba drinks , family business & I'm all about supporting small businesses the gentlemen is very nice & great customer service! I got a strawberry boba & mango boba & it's hard to stop drinking for me & my nephew it was gone in a few minutes next time I'llHey two because I'm a fattie !.. Their food is excellent, their customer service is excellent, the pricing is very reasonable. I have eaten here several times and have never had a bad meal. I highly recommend the Rice bowl.

They served water is the best thing there. The food was truly the absolute worst I ever had. The sweet and sour chicken was like eating cardboard covered in sauce. Do not waste your time and money. Terrible terrible terrible. The worst Chinese food. I don't know who is cooking or how they can put that on the table without apologizing. I want to give this place a --0 score.

Garlic Chicken was executed nicely , not heavily sauced. Chow mein was tasty. Added a small side of veggies to this number 7 and it completed the meal.Wor Won Ton soup was full of veggies and this made the soup extra tasty on a cold Saturday (2-25-23).Very clean the waiter wiped down tables with bleach. Definitely a hidden gem in Escalon.
