After a day of drinking Lodi wines, which are very fruit forward, including a lot of Zinfandels, we found these various acidic wines to be too acidic for our taste. The location and server were quite nice though so if you like acidic wines, this might be a good place for you to go. The server was also very nice with respect to us having our dog with us and giving us a few other ideas of places to go to try wines more to our liking

Such friendly and excellent service! We really enjoyed our time here with our friends. This place is kid friendly which is great. There's lots of board games for them to place, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy beer and wine! We even got to enjoy amazing pizza from a vendor inside! Highly recommend for their friendly service and great tasting beers and wine!

What a nice tasting room. Red Spanish varietals with really good taste. Friendly staff who will walk you through the tastings. All the reds are dry. One of my favorite places in Lodi.If you see Rick the winemaker, strike up a conversation with him.

This place has both great wines and fabulous beers. The pourers are super nice and the atmosphere can't be beat. A great place for a group where some want to drink wine exclusively and some prefer beer.

This place was small and cozy when we came in for some wine tasting. There was a counter with multiple stools and one guy helping everybody. The wine tasting was $7 per person and there were seven different wines to taste. The guy pouring the wine was very knowledgeable and friendly. There were a few others at the bar with us and everybody was doing their own thing or having their own conversations with the guy that worked here which was fine to me. We tried 7 different wines that Riaza Wines had at the time we went which were Elemental, Irreverent, Soul, Double Barrel, Prospector, The Standard, and Diablo Rojo. Out of all of the wines, I liked The Standard the best which was Zinfandel from Cemetery Vineyard in Lodi. It definitely lived up to its name in my opinion.Good place for some wine tasting to me!

Coming in to Riaza is like walking into your best friend's home. It's cool, inviting, and you wish it was yours. Rick and Duncan are geniuses and friendly as a drunk raccoon after a night of dumpster diving.Their wines taste phenomenal. The events they hold are second to none. They create an experience that makes you appreciate wines and winemaking. More importantly, they treat you like family the moment you walk through the door.

So a door closes and another opens! I love it when you find people with a clear vision of how they see themselves in the world. In this case you need to visit Riaza wines and meet the visionary and talented wine maker Rick Taylor. You will find great wine from the 209 (catchy, isn't it?). Also, the club members are always hanging out way longer than they are supposed to (apologies to Erin Taylor) but you will get to know the quality of Riaza wines and maybe get a bonus pour if you are lucky. Also, you can stop by Cheese Central and bring in some snackies or go to La Campana and pair your favorite burrito with a fine spanish varietal. In short, the new digs are amazing in design. The Industrial vibe is on point!

I wish I had caught the name of the gentleman that was helping us out this evening... He was very personable, friendly, and was not one to leave an empty glass. I am not crazy about sparkling wine, but the verdelejo (?) was one that I would consider purchasing. I also enjoyed the reds as they each had a nice palate teetering on a balance of cinnamon/spice and a dark fruit. I conveniently set myself in a location in which the sunset would blind me LOL and the gentleman did everything he could to have me move to a seat that was more conducive to a comfortable table conversation. A positive experience all around and a place in which they will continue to have my business! I always appreciate a knowledgeable, friendly face, and good wine!

We stopped by this winery during the Wine & Chocolate Event, Feb. 13 & 14, 2016.It's a medium-sized tasting room located in a downtown/square area. They were serving bacon-wrapped dates for the event, which was incredibly delicious! The wines were good, although we didn't buy any. None of them really stood out to us.The service was nice and attentive. I would return again.

We became members of the winery after we stumbled upon them on our first trip to Lodi. It was their very unassuming sign that said: need wine? And we were sold. I cannot say enough good things about this winery or their wine! First off, the wine is good - I mean good. Super drinkable, tasty, complex and hits all the right notes. Secondly, the family and the tasting room family are one of a kind. The atmosphere is comfortable, fun and a place where you'll make friends. We ended up moving away from northern Cali for about 5 years and Riaza was the only wine membership we kept. No matter where we went in the country, Riaza came with us and we were always grateful to get their shipment of quality, tasty and just plain good wine. You won't regret stopping in here! It's a must stop in Lodi!
