Raspados El Amigo

Im from the Bay Area and all Mangonadas out here they add shaved ice, I personally don't like it. So today I randomly came to a Modesto to drop off some stuff at a family gathering and I saw the place, I had seen it before but it was never the right weather to get ice cream or raspados but yesterday-was so warm that I gave in and let me tell you that their MANGONADAS are soo good, the mango sorbet is perfect and their mango was so fresh, yummy and juicy. Too bad I live far but now I know that every-time I am in the city of Modesto I need to stop by for some Mangonadas! Next will be raspados de vanilla! Thank you Raspados El Amigo.

Service was excellent. My mangonada was delicious nice and spicy at the bottom. Kids enjoyed ice cream with the toppings they had available. Bionicos was good. Raspado de chamoy was a little too spicy for taste. Chilindrinas were ok. Nachos were also good. Looking forward to possible elotes in the future.

Amazing service and EVERYTHING is very delicious . I've been buying from them since they were just a small business , now they are growing and it's just as good or even better. Everything is so fresh and made then and there . Would highly recommend this place to anyone anytime, Especially with the hot ass weather in modesto . If your looking for something refreshing , this is the place . Wouldn't go anywhere else

Best Mexican food i ever had in the US, even the environment it's Mexican , very friendly people.

Best diablitos! The mango one is especially good. Lots of real mango, fresh squeezed lime juice, chamoy, and chili. This is the same as the little stand that was at the gas station on the corner of Maze and Martin Luther, and the truck on Crows Landing road.

Nachos were good and mangoñada was delicious! Customer service was also great. Will be coming back.

Este establecimiento es racista a la gente afro-americana. Mi novio bajo a pedir un tenedor (hasta lo pidió en español) y la doña dijo que tenía que comprar algo, el dijo "bueno deja comprar algo" y la muy pendeja le empezó a gritarle. Se comportó así porque el es "Moreno" y la verdad que pena con la raza.

Sorry but i didnt like this place at all. I didnt experience what the other reviews mentions. Service was ehh, not helpful at all. The menu is placed in a wierd spot and categorized in a wierd way. And what was supposed to be a "Diablito" was more like a watered down raspado. It disnt even have the tamarino candy they usually come with. First and last time at this location

fui a ordenar una orden de tostilocos. mal hechos. normalmente le he han jicama, pepino, mango, cacahuetes, y dulce de tamarindo. pero la señora siempre le hecha lo que ella quiere. esta última vez nomas me dio jicama y cacahuetes. mas o menos $10 por pura jicama y cacahuetes. nunca mas regresare

I love this place, excellent customer service. Food wise delicious. We came here once a week and love the mangonadas and shave ice (raspados) with natural fruit syrup. I really recommend this place.
