So, I really lost my wedding ring this time. I have a very bad habit of placing it under my leg while driving to apply hand lotion. Everyone tells me I should wear it all the time but for some reason, I just can't wear it while washing dishes, taking a shower, or when I need to moisturize my hands. Well, shortly before Christmas 2017, my husband told me he like to get me a new wedding ring. I looked online on Amazon, Macy's, JC Penny's, but just couldn't find anything I liked.I remembered I'd brought my 1st wedding ring to Rankin jewelers to get it cleaned...besides, Danny played in a band with some very good friends of mine so I thought I'd give Rankin's a chance. Danny showed me every ring I wanted to look at, let me try them on, and one fit perfectly. What I liked even more, was that Danny designed this ring and made it, in his shop...You won't find any emails pretty as jewelry here.He gave us a great price and my husband presented it to me, Christmas morning in front of our family, kneeled and asked me to marry him all over again.Danny Rankin is an artist and very accommodating to his customers; check him out if you're looking for something special!

He helped me through a fairly difficult and stressful process (engagement ring) with grace, style, and the patience of an old friend. I have never written a yelp review before. But my experience with Dan Rankin has compelled me to. After my engagement ring broke, I had struggled to find a jeweler to fix my ring properly. I had spent quite a bit of time and money at another jeweler and felt at a loss. Dan was the first person to be honest with me. The ring was a family heirloom and in a condition that was beyond repair. I was very unhappy to hear this, but relieved by his integrity. Dan went over my options with me. I did not want a new ring! But Dan reassured me that he could recreate the ring and fix some of the structural flaws. He created a new one that was as close as possible in looks and so much stronger. I was so nervous to go through this process. I couldn't imagine a ring what was better than what my fiancé had proposed with. I thought the sentimental value would be gone. But I was so wrong! This ring that Dan created is so incredibly beautiful. It is so elegant and exactly like the original. It is better in every way and I couldn't be happier!My grandmother has been going to Dan Rankin for years and years. She loves his work. He is truly a master of his craft and an artist. Real workmanship like his is hard to find! Dan is simply the best!

Dan Rankin will give you friendly, honest and helpful advice with no pressure and no attempts to upsell you into buying something you don't really need. I have bought multiple items from him over the years as have several familiy members and we have all yet to be disspointed. My most recent purchase was an engagement ring for my fiance. Dan spent considerable effort working with us to make a gorgeous ring we're both happy with. Also, his prices are extremely reasonable. You'd be hard pressed to get a better deal on an inferior product purchased sight unseen from some bulk online megamart. His easy going, unpretentious, and honest nature belie the seriousness and skill he will apply to making your purchase meet or exceed all of your expectations. I'll never buy jewelry anywhere else.

Dan gave me the ring of my dreams! When my husband and I got married, 11 years ago, we were fresh out of college, and didn't have a lot of money to spend on our rings. I picked out an antique engagement ring, with very small diamonds, but I loved it just the same. After a recent, regular cleaning, with my local jeweler, I was told that I shouldn't be wearing my engagement ring as an every day ring, due to the thinning band. I was sad, and reluctantly put my ring away. After talking with my sister, who had done business with Dan Rankin before, I decided to get a second opinion...his! I am so glad that I did. He was willing to take my beloved diamonds, and put them into a much fancier setting, one that I had only dreamed about owning!I showed him a photo of a ring that I loved, and he recreated it, giving it its own personality and originality. The setting is amazing! Not only did Dan work with me, he also secretly worked with husband, and surprised me with a larger diamond for the center of my ring! When I opened the box to see my new ring, I was literally stunned, and thought that Dan's amazing work had somehow made my diamonds appear larger than they really were! It was a moment that I will never forget!Before, when I would look at my engagement ring, I would recall the sweet day that my husband presented it to me, knowing that he longed to give me something fancier. Had loose diamonds that I wanted to be made into wearable jewelry and Mr Rankin designed a necklace and it was a hit with the recipient!!!
