Ramen 101

Good portions fast service, I was a fan of them in the bay area glad they are in the central valley now

There are plenty of parking spaces. You order first and then sit down to eat. I ordered the Unagi Rice (Grilled Japanese Eel) and it was good, but it's just the eel and a lot of rice, no vegetables or anything else. The only downside is that there are a lot of rice, but 2 small eels to where I finished the eels quicker than the rice. We had been looking for a long time for good local Teriyaki chicken with no luck. At a friends house they had a delicious Teriyaki chicken in a to go platter that was from here.We finally tried it personally.We had Ramen and a Teriyaki chicken with the sauce on the side.The Ramen was good but there are better options in Modesto, the broth lacks depth, it was good just not my flavor.The chicken did not disappoint, it was awesome. I really liked the macaroni salad that came with it and service was good.We came back a few days later and ordered a platter of the chicken which as it turns out also has some freshly blanched cabbage and broccoli which was great.Good service, nicely decorated and clean.This will be a regular spot for us, finally we found good Teriyaki!!

Update: They finally started giving utensils!! The chicken karrage is always so good. Garlic Ramen is great too

Very cozy space!!! Very nice employees!!! VERY YUMMY FOOD !! Very rich and filling ramen!! there's not much ramen places around here that have the nice creamy rich broth like they do in the bay area but this place NAILED IT!!! The ramen has an amazing creamy broth along with soft noodles 10/10 would come here again!!!! And also not very noisy so if you get overwhelmed by noisy places this place is pretty good with volume :3

Another amazing meal from Ramen 101. Ordered take out and got the Tonkatsu ramen, miso ramen, black garlic ramen, spam musubis and a chicken plate for the family. Plenty of food for all of us. They provided me with a box to easy carrying and even opened the door for me to leave. Great service! Thank you!

Nice surprise. Friendly service. Our food came out pretty quickly and was hot and delicious. The mini plate of teriyaki chicken came with one scoop each of rice and mac. The bbq mix plate came with 2 scoops of rice, one scoop of macaroni salad, a generous serving of grilled chicken and two tender pieces of bbq beef. I also ordered the chicken ramen, mild spice, add tofu. It was the perfect amount of spice. Not too overpowering. The lumpia was hot and crispy. The spam musubi was also nice and tasty.

It was decent ramen.... there's better places out there, but not in Modesto that I'm aware of .

Overpriced for mediocre and quantity. Chicken katsu very thinly more breading that anything. You're better off going to ono or l&l for the price and quality. Music they played was the best thing there lol. Daughter got the chicken bbq and it was rubbery

Came into restaurant and no open tables left just two dirty ones, it was cleaned as we finished paying. she walked away as I was handing her the money when my amount was totaled, I hope the food is better than the service
