Rack N Road - Sacramento

Bought a newer vehicle last summer and the plan had always been to add a roof rack. With hopes of a promising snow season, I looked up Rack N Road.I was initially able to communicate via text to get an idea of what my options were.Made a trip down to get a visual on my options.Super happy with the customer service and incredibly patient Cameron. You have to come down and visit their showroom because there are a ton of cool things I never knew I wanted and needed. Bike trailer options, an this insane trailer for camping. I got a custom rack with snow attachment for skis and boards. I'll likely look at other attachments when the season changes.The install was quick and they even made sure to attach the locks on the passenger side for safety. I'm confident in recommending this spot to anyone looking for aftermarket vehicle outfitting!

Reserved a huge roof cargo online for pickup. I knew what I needed. Arrived and they took the product out from the box as requested and two gents loaded it on my truck. They price matched the deal on the brand's site. Did a little window shopping in store as they have tons to gear to check out. Knowledgeable staff provided good info on other products. Storage worked great!

The guys at R and R are patient and great at explaining what I needed for my needs. They were super accommodating with the appointment and fast at the installation. They even helped me with the one lock system. I absolutely recommend them. I drove down from Lake Tahoe for this service over any place in Reno.

I needed a racking system for a new kayak that would fit on my Land Cruiser and to enable me to load the kayak by myself (small female person). Damion was great in helping me on the phone and in person to select a pair of Yakima crossbars and a Thule Hullavator. Everything was installed on a Saturday in about an hour and a half. What a great experience.

I needed a storage rack installed for our minivan and I called RackNRoad, made an appointment with Brian. I never had a storage rack on my cars so I had questions. Brian was very helpful when I arrived and within an hour, new roof rack tracks installed and the storage container (Force XT XXL) was installed. Excellent customer service and highly recommended. I was trying to find a shop that could install a discontinued THULE roof rack on my car. Not only was I able to get a same day appointment, they had the rack installed lightning fast, for a very fair price and were incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Can't recommend this shop enough if you're looking for roof rack or hitch components/accessories. It seems they have everything, and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you again!!!

I just today, May 17, had a car hitch installed on my 2016 Prius at Rack N Road for a Kuat Sherpa 2.0 bike hitch rack I also bought there. I cannot praise this business too highly. I visited the showroom on Sunday afternoon, May 12, and Michael was amazingly helpful in allowing me to learn my options, and he also offered to match a discount on the bike rack offered by the REI store about two miles away. Michael ordered the hitch that day, it arrived there yesterday, and they installed it this morning in about an hour. Another guy there (I forget his name now, but he also was great) showed me exactly how to use the bike rack and he answered every one of my questions completely. I can't remember when I had such a positive experience buying something, and I'm nearly 64 years old. So, thank you, Rack N Road!
