I would only write a review while the service or product is extraordinary or it must be considered the worst.Choicehotels.com is an affiliate of Quality Inn Hotel. I made two nights reservation thru them. Due to changing circumstances, it was necessary to stay at the hotel another night. I contacted the lobby on the morning of the 3rd. day around 10:20 am, before the check-out-11:00 a.m. Manny was the concierge and notified him I needed to stay one more night. He requested I came down to the lobby to take care of the reservation. I suggested to him to proceed with my credit card information, already on file, for the additional charge. Manny insisted I came to the lobby. Towards the end of the transaction, because I asked, the rate was going to be 1/3 more, to which I objected. He indicated that the previous rate was thru Choicehotels, he also advised me to get the same rates, I should go back with them. I did go back to choicehotels.com, found the same previous rate, followed the reservation steps as before and booked it. I called Manny from my room to inform him the reservation and its payment were taken care of. He acknowledged receiving the confirmation from Choicehotels also. A while later Manny called to let me know the reservation I shortly had made was not for a suite, the room I was already in. I asked him to check my original reservation, to notice I didn't book for a suite in the first place, it was the room assigned to me.... He requested I came down to the lobby to discuss it. After talking about the details above, without reaching a consent with Manny, I asked to speak to a manager. Manny made absolutely clear there wasn't a manager on the premises. I instructed him to have a manager contact me whenever available, to find me or reach me at the room I was in. I short while later, Manny contacted me by phone to express the reservation charge was for a different kind of a room... I stressed to him I only wanted to speak or be contacted by a manager, who could actually make a decision on the very inconvenient situation. A short while later, Manny came to knock on my door to cheerfully announced that the discrepancy was resolved, to no avail... since some 30 minutes later, he came back to my room to assert that the rate, reservation and payment for my 3rd. night were incorrect for the room I had been for 2 nights already. He kindly reminded me to pay the difference or to evacuate the premises, otherwise law enforcement would be contacted to eject me. I demanded to speak to a manager for the last time...In no time, two Sacramento PD officers were knocking at my room door... We all respectfully engaged in the corresponding conversation about the issue.The last alternative was to pay the higher rate or leave. I certainly left.No manager ever contacted me.I had come to this hotel to stay from 1 to 4 nights, on and off for 4 years. It's not under a new administration, except Manny took matters on his own hands, ruined a repeat customer from coming back and earned a most negative business review.Besides, the room condition this time was very dissatisfying and disappointing. I had to put up with poor ceiling repairs (insulation coming down), torn-old furniture and someone else's hair in the bathroom, dirty floors as well. They called it a "suite"...Furthermore, the area has deteriorated to the point that you would feel unsafe.

We arrived to see the parking lot covered in trash and a couple fighting in front of the lobby. If we hadn't already paid for our reservation we would have left. Staff was very friendly and outgoing so we had some hope this was just a fluke. When we parked our car we immediately were asked by someone in the parking lot if we had drugs. They said we should since our Oregon license plates. We enter the building to be hit my cigarette smoke. It followed us to the second floor where another couple were fighting at the end of the hall. We quickly get in the room and bolt the door. The bed comforter had several burns through. The desk chair was taped together. We took a shower to find the towels were dirty. We tried to get in the bed but holes in the bottom sheet. Needless to say we didn't sleep well. We tried to get a water bottle for the road and the machine ate the money and hotel policy is they can't help. I'll be reaching out to hotel management. This is basic guest services. during a pandemic none the less, cleanliness should be a major concern.

We found this hotel to be very clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was especially comfortable, which is a plus. Will definitely go here again if we are visiting Sacramento.

This place got bad reviews because of construction. There was no construction or homeless in the area. I would stay here again. I stayed at 8 different hotels for this trip. This was the best hotel!!

FRAUD!!! UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! F*** THIS PLACE!!!! They used my card without my authorization and consent. I NEVER EVEN CHECKED-IN NOR STAYED AT THIS PLACE!!!!!! The front desk, Cindy, kept threatening me and asking for my card information. They charged my card multiple times and I asked to speak to the manager, "Ronnie", and everytime I called they kept saying that he's not there, went to lunch, off today, etc. Then, kept saying "I don't know why you got that charge." Then she started yelling, and cussed me out!!!!! Like what?????!! HOW RUDE AND HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! They can't see their transaction history??? I can see the charges on my account FROM THE PROPERTY!!!! and I even spoke to my bank about the charges already and clearly they entered my card# and info. DON'T STAY IN THIS PLACE.

Hallways smelled like marijuana. My vehicle was vandalized in the parking lot, right in front of the office, under a light, and right in front of a security camera, and the front desk clerk didn't even apologize when I informed him.

I had a reservation and pulled up and Never went in,due to the fact we did not feel SafePeople doing drugs,homeless hanging out and two groups of people fighting Horrible!!!Do not go here They wouldn't even give us our money backAbsolutely no customer service Discussed with this place Sorry we even tried!!!!!Stay Away!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only is this room overpriced for the quality the customer service is garbage. We have NO HOT WATER. Advised we have to wait a week to talk to the manager. Unacceptable!!! You do not spend almost 200 a night for room temperature water for a jacuzzi tub room. Offered no refund or solution at all. Manny the receptionist did not care at all about no hot running water. Completely ruined our anniversary to the fullest. Motel 6 has better customer service and hot water. I would give 0 stars if I could. Worst experience ever.
