First Hunt of the year and after waiting 6 months to get out in the field the dogs nailed it! Our boys were on fire and worked amazingly well while pointing out the pheasants & quails getting a total of 9 out of 10. We were in one of the larger fields (#26) on a hot humid day. The owner suggested he puts the birds out 2 separate times which we did (3P/2Q & 2P/3Q)The staff here is awesome and makes sure you are taken care of.This place is definitely better than the other clubs that we belonged to. There are not people and dogs running all over the place, people yelling at their dog's (well at least you cannot hear them) The land is spread out enough that you are able to focus on your dogs and the hunt without any distractions. Looking forward to getting out again with the dogs and enjoying the hunt!

This is a great place to go shoot sporting clays. Targets are guaranteed to be fun. Dave has set targets at nationals so rest assured they know what they are doing. The hilly terrain makes for targets you won't see elsewhere. Staff is friendly as hell.

Great place, great people and best of all....it's only a short drive from the Bay Area. You can still get back home in a couple of hours without feeling like you've been driving forever.Facility offers bird cleaning for a nominal fee. Better than spending hours doing it yourself! Big open fields where you can focus on your hunt or spending quality time working/training your dog. They also offer rental dogs if you don't have one.

Great club for all your shotgun needs. Hunting and sporting clays with different levels depending on your skill levels. Beginner or advanced you will have a blast. If you have never shot before you will find a home here. They have just hosted the national championships so you know they must be good.

I've been shooting sporting clays at Quail Point since it was a steal at $20 a round (100 clays). Six years later, it's still only $32 a round, and still a helluva deal. Dave recently added fully digital wireless remotes to the course, as well as professional grade LaPorte throwers. The remote is easy to use, and counts your birds for you. There are sixteen (16) stations, with a second full course in the works. Course expert and Master Class shooter Matt lays out the course from easy to challenging as you work your way through the stations, allowing you to build confidence yet still test your skills. From easy going-away shots to screaming hard-to-hit teal, there's quite a variety of presentations. It's rarely crowded, and I like being able to skip around stations or linger at a particular station at my whim. I like the fact it's a laid back place, with friendly folks. It's also only 45 miles from my home in Sacramento. I've taken my son there since he was four, to push the button for me and be part of the shooting experience. It's a good place for kids to learn in a pressure-free environment. Everyone I've ever met there has been SAFE, agreeable, and relaxed.Lately, I've been going with a buddy to shoot birds over his young English Springer Spaniel. The fields are great to hunt in, with varied terrain from flat to hills to long draws. Dave is very good about matching the skill level of your hunting party and dog with the field that is most likely to give you the hunt experience you're looking for. Hunting with kids or young dogs? Ask Dave to hook you up with some easy walking. Need some bird locations flagged? No problem. Want them to be put down hard so they don't wander up the hill before you get to them? No problem. Oh yeah, after mid-morning, you can bat cleanup on other peoples' fields as long as they have checked out. And you don't have to pay for anyone else's birds you may harvest! After we're done with our field, we just call Dave or head back to the clubhouse to find out what fields are available. They have rental dogs, ammo, and a limited selection of accessories. They've got a kitchen too, with breakfast menu, drinks, and coffee.I highly recommend checking it out.
