This parks is the Jack of All Trades, Master of None. It has so much, especially soccer + baseball + bocceball fields. For young kids, it has two small playgrounds and another small water splash park.I thought the kid's playground was much too small. Most other similarly-large parks have one that's 2-3x as large. So what went wrong? Well, I got attacked by tiny FLYING SPIDERS. Literally everywhere I sat, a spider would land on me every several minutes. Maybe I went at the wrong season, or got unlucky and visited during a spider invasion. Whatever the case, there were spiders drifting in the air everywhere, and we had to run.

"A child who does not play is not a child, but the man who does not play has lost forever the child who lived in him." ~Pablo Neruda This amazing community park has an obstacle course, swing set, rock climbing wall, sporting areas, seating areas and even a splash pad! My daughter and I had an absolute blast on the obstacle course! The water spray ground is just awesome, a great way to cool your kids off in the blazing heat! The only reason I subtracted a star, was because the restrooms aren't always maintained.I would recommend visiting this fun local park that's been around for 15 years! They open at sunrise and close at 10:00 pm. Their splash pad hours are 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, they opened Memorial Day and will remain open until Labor Day! We've been here a couple times now and will continue to come back! Happy Pride Month! SYOY! :-)

The first time we came here for a soccer game, the power was out in the area and the field lights weren't working, but we got to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. We came back this morning. This park was very nice. The soccer field is well kept. They have a huge parking lot. There were two play grounds. One of them has a spray ground. There were two different bathroom areas. Those were very clean. They also have tennis courts, baseball field, walking/running trails. We also saw an area for birthday parties.

Wow! Such a well thought park! I love that there is no tan bark to say the least.. and restrooms nearby! There's plenty of shaded areas that cover the park which is great for the summer.. and also plenty of benches for parents to sit and watch their kids play. There's plenty of parking as well so not too much of an issue unless it's the weekend which can probably be a lot busier. Will definitely be one of the parks I bookmark!

Great community public park in El Dorado Hills. It is tucked off Sophia Parkway in the 'burbs. The park has an artificial turf soccer field, baseball field, two childrens playgrounds ( one geared for the tater tots, both have sunshade covers), two tennis courts (No tennis wall. The courts are not separated by a fence), bocce, basketball courts, and a childrens water play area "Sprayground" (open in warmer weather). They have restrooms, not sure if they are open though. There are large areas of green grass. They have a large parking lot. If that fills up (especially on sports days), there is plenty of street parking along the park.

Ever wondered what a park in a really nice community would look like? Wonder no more. Although I consider myself middle class, the neighborhood surrounding Promontory Park will have you in awe! The houses are just as huge as they are unique. The park itself is HUGE! A central parking lot gives you access to both playgrounds. The water/splash side is probably best designed for the older kids as some obstacles are just mindboggling to the little ones. With a little help any kid is guaranteed to have a great time! The park is also home to a few tennis courts, an artificial soccer field and I believe I saw some diamonds as well.Unfortunately we've only visited post-covid so the splash area hasn't been open since, maybe this summer 2021 will make its comeback!

This is an amazing park. I love that there is a water park addition to this park open after memorial day to labor day for those hot summer days where the kiddos need to get out of the house and yet stay cool. I also love that there are two parts of this park as far as a playground goes. The side where there is a water park, there is climbing, rocks, swings and a slide. On the other side by the bocce and tennis area are slides, lizards, ladders, rocking horse, etc. This park also has a baseball field and new soccer field. The community is big on keeping it clean and welcoming to all. There are also picnic benches and tables. It is perfect for resting, having a snack or a meal. I highly recommend this park if you are out in the EDH area!

Great place to take the kiddos, and a great place for a BBQ. The best part is that it's at no cost.

While we love the splash park and the playgrounds are nice too there is always an issue with the bathrooms. Last time we went they were clogged, this time there was no toilet paper. There wasn't even a place for the TP anymore... I will have to remember to bring TP next time but it would be nice to not have to worry about it.
