What an awesome event! I attended the Ladyseed this past weekend and learned a lot about myself, my rifle, and my country's beginning. Saturday started off slow, it took them a while to set up and get going but once they did it was full speed ahead. They communicate OFTEN with you & their team of volunteers, making sure everything/everyone is on the same page making things run smoothly. The instructors are great advocates & VERY knowlegeable, I can't stress enough how you MUST check yourself when you're here (I caught my attitude and let it slip a few times). Luckily they understand the frustration and behaviors we have when participating making it truly sympathetic. They train you on what's expected, what it will look like, how it will actually all go down, and tips/tricks along the way. At no point in time did I ever feel alone, lost, or scared (I went alone, everyone signed up with a relative/friend). I recommend this to anyone who is interested in preserving & enriching our American history. You WILL learn something, it is inevitable. I want to give a shout to Laurie who kept me going when she knew I was beat and unmotivated in the hot sun, she's awesome. Thanks for all the knowlege and laughs Project Appleseed!

Excellent training with exceptional volunteers. Designed for basic safety and marksmanship, but that doesn't mean experienced shooters won't gain anything. I recommend everyone do this every few years. Great experience.

My GF April and I attended The Appleseed in Hat Creek this past Memorial Day Weekend. In short, it was a great experience and we learned a lot. Well worth our time, energy, and money.Longer version...I have attended a lot of very good training in my life. Some of it has been paid for by employers. Some of it has been paid out of my own pocket. The training that we received at Appleseed was exceptional. The instructors do an outstanding job. The environment is family friendly, safe, and welcoming. Unfortunately, this program is one of the best kept secrets in the firearm training industry. For the price of $60 or less for your class and 500 rounds of ammo for your rifle, you will receive instruction that is worth many times that price. You will also receive some interesting lessons in American History. We both worked very hard on our rifle skills and qualified as Rifleman on the second day. It was quite an accomplishment.
