Primo Tactical Guns & Lingerie

I just recently purchased a beautiful S&W Model 19 and was able to facilitate my FFL and DROS process at Primo Tactical. Simply put, the entire process from beginning to end was FANTASTIC! Michelle and Ronnie are a pleasure to work with on any portion of the paperwork. They are both very welcoming and whether you are a first time firearm owner or seasoned vet, they are equally helpful! They made sure that my firearm was in compliance with the CA DOJ list prior to accepting it, so as to make sure I wasn't stuck with any penalty fee. I am a stickler for prompt communication and responses and was very pleased to receive mobile texts back from their business phone number same day, every time I reached out! They had very clear and concise instructions for documentation required/location to park/how to pay properly/etc. and they set me up for success! It's wonderful to see a dependable gun shop nestled in the heart of downtown WC, I'll be a returning customer no doubt. I can tell from my limited interactions with their other returning customers, that they've cultivated an environment for a community of endearing folks to find joy in a shared interest. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I'm an animal lover who decided it was time to have some protection in the home. However I hate going to shops surrounded by dead animals. THIS SHOP IS THE BEST!!! They don't sell to hunters and are the kindest people you will ever meet. They offer the best prices around while being knowledgable and efficient. After you meet them, you'll feel like you're dealing with friends, they are incredibly kind. I don't know if more fire arms are in my future but I wouldn't go to anybody else to to compete this process. GO! You won't regret it they're great people with an excellent business. Thanks!!!

When you go to a guns and ammo store to buy ammo, you shouldn't be discriminated against. While waiting, I started with some small talk about hunting and was told they wouldn't sell ammo to me because my family hunts. I even tried to explain about my family's native Alaskan heritage and how in Alaska animals are the primary food source for villages and hunting and fishing is how you secure food. Nope. Didn't matter. So disappointing. Extra annoying part was the ammo I was asking for was for home defense. Still a "no". I prefer discrimination free stores thank you.

Although Primo is only about 1/2 block away from the Walnut Creek Police station, it's somewhat out of the way which is actually a good thing for such a business. Most everything is done via text before your appointment date. Once there, you'll get excellent VIP service from Ronnie & Michelle. They really know their stuff & do everything efficiently. When retrieving my firearm on my return trip, I unexpectedly had a dog with me that day. Unsure whether Pets were allowed or welcomed, my fears were soon put to rest as Ron & Michelle are genuine Dog Lovers . Definitely a business I would recommend.

Ronnie and Michelle made the process smooth, efficient, and easy. They are very knowledgeable, polite professional and helpful. Anything you forgot they're on top of it letting you know before it happens, excellent communication and customer service. There were having an issue with receiving and sending texts and calls a few months ago however that seemed to be entirely the phone service being at fault. Once I let them know that was happening I had no issues moving forward. They sent me a reminder for documentation that I needed, they sent me a reminder for the date I was I could pickup, and answered all the questions I had about my firearm and clarification on any documentation. I hope that as service member and first responder I can add more value and credibility to my review as I understand that all small business were effected by the lockdowns during the height of COVID. I will be returning and highly recommend Primo Tactical.

These people are wonderful. They didn't have what I needed but they took the time to suggest other stores based on my area and actually helped me find it elsewhere. So friendly and helpful. You just don't find customer service this good anywhere.

Ronnie and Michelle are two amazing people who made the whole FFL process smooth and easy. Not only are they knowledgeable and informative they are truly great people. I could spend hours just hanging out with them. I will be going through them each and every time, moving forward. If it's not clear to anyone, I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

If you ever need proof that people in this industry aren't "gun nuts", Primo Tactical is all the evidence you could ask for. I just completed a seamless and very transparent FFL transfer with them. They're so very competent, and so very kind. You'll want to invite them to your house for a BBQ, I guarantee it. Five stars!
