Precision Auto is the kind of shop you can trust and want to do business with. At the time of writing this review, they currently have 4.7 stars which totally makes sense. I stopped in to get an estimate on some work I needed done on my vehicle. The guy at the service desk advised me that the work I needed fell into the specialty shop realm. He then gave me a few names of some shops he trusted and that would be better suited to handle the work. Any shop willing to pass on business (money) in order to make sure the customer gets the appropriate service, gets an A+ in my book! I feel that kind of honesty and customer care is lacking in the automotive services these days. I will be sure to return to Precision Auto when I need other work done on my vehicle.

Service consultants are excellent (especially Ted) and they always do a good job assessing your needs suggesting repair options and being honest in their business dealings. Been going here for years with all my cars and even when the repair didn't meet expectations they have always made it right. Competent and trustworthy mechanics are hard to find so they will continue to earn my business because of their integrity

I was having problems with my car, a busted door handle, as well as my car making a rubbing noise when I steered my vehicle, and a check engine light, which turned out to be a thermostat issue. They were able to fix it and have my car running well again. The service was great, particularly Ted, and the prices were reasonable. I will do business with them in the future.

I took my vehicle to Precision for years and had no problems. However,it I took in in as I had a coolant leak. They told me it needed a new exhaust manifold. But none were available from their supplier and they will not install one I would buy. That I should buy a new car. I'm on disability like that's going to happen. I had it towed to another shop in town. They had it back to me in two days. It was not the exhaust manifold it was the thermostat. Precision can not be trusted anymore!

I was recently stranded in Manteca 45 minutes from home, 108 degree day, and my serpentine belt was shredded. They took care of me even though they said they were completely booked up for the day. They said the work only took the mechanic a few minutes so they didn't charge me for labor and had me back on the road within a couple hours.

After reading multiple four star reviews and above, I decided to give this place a try. I needed a basic oil change and filter change for my jeep. The lady that made my appointment for me was attentive and asked relevant information to get the parts ahead of my appointment. When I arrive my appointment all the staff were super friendly and professional. I am giving this place four stars instead of five stars for two reasons1) I never leave a five star review on my first interaction with a business. The business has to earn the fifth star.2) I understand they had to empty my glove box to get to the end, cabin air filter, professional, courtesy with dictate. They put the contents back in the glove box and not leave it in the front passenger foot.

Requested a quote and never got a response. Do not recommend this place, there're not very professional. Don't waste your time calling these people. Don't deserve a star.

I had both of the motor mounts replaced on my wife's car. Ted squeezed me in at the last minute. Very accommodating and faith based. Prices were very reasonable, they kept in touch with me about the progress of my car. The repairs were completed quickly. My first time using this wonderful service and will always go back from now on.

Very nice people, caring and trust worthy!! They were able to quote me with a work order in hand. They were attentive to my needs and ensured I was happy before leaving their facility.
