We were visiting family in the neighborhood and wanted to take our baby out for a stroll. It's always nice to have a park walking distance in the neighborhood. The fall foliage is beautiful and there's definitely a nice and decently clean playground for the kiddos. It has a cute gazebo as well. The canal sadly reflects the California drought but there are still ducks here! Overall, good place to stroll around if you're in the neighborhood but I wouldn't go out of your way to come here.

This is a great neighborhood park. There's a canal that's great for walking, running, biking, or whatever you want to do! Great for kids and adults :) It's a pretty clean park besides the duck and bird poops everywhere, but that's all part of nature :) Yes, there are lots of ducks, so it's nice to see and hear them quacking :) But there's a big sign posted on the fence that tells you not to feed the ducks anymore :( Of course, there is a playground and it's perfect for the little kiddos to play -- I love the giant colorful fish :) There's plenty of benches for parents to sit and talk too. Also, there's a little soccer field too! Overall, I love this park :D

After reading through Regina's thread I decided to take an evening a bike ride. My favorite stop is at Portuguese community park. I find it so relaxing to watch the ducks with their ducklings meander through the water. Thanks for the inspiration Regina.

Great little neighborhood park. Featuring a playground, gazebo, picnic tables and water fountain. I wish they didn't paint the fish.

Nice, small local park. It has practically everything minutes basketball courts, but you can go down the street to Garcia bend for that. At this path you get to see the ducks at the canal, and walk the bridge and enjoy looking at the gazebo. You can park asking the cul-de-sac and watch your youngins at the playground. You see plenty of people walking by along the canal too. It's feels safe and mostly everyone here knows each other.
