Poppy Coffee

Poppy Coffee is a cute little coffee shop with a cute quiet space to hang out. The wall has some beautiful art of a poppy flower. There's a wall of local events and things going around in town. They have a large menu of baked goods, sandwiches, coffees and drinks. The service is great and quick. The place was pretty empty! I got a mixed up mocha which is very very sweet. And a sweet cream frappe which is similar to a vanilla bean frappe at Starbucks.

I used to love coming to this coffee shop back in like 2018-2019 but honestly I cant say I do anymore. This was my first time back into this shop after a couple years and my experience was not good. I'm not sure if management has changed since but for starters the place is not clean, no uplifting ambiance, chairs/couches are run down, food is terrible & the service was bad. I had a iced lavender latte which was good but not good enough where I would return just for that. I waited exactly 45 minutes from the minute I placed my order to get my food items. Mind you there was workers in the kitchen just on their phones. When I had went up to the counter to ask how much longer for my food, one of the male workers told me "we made your food but it looks like someone else took it on accident". Like WHAT?! From then it still took an additional 10 minutes to receive my food which by the way was not even worth the wait. I love supporting local so I really hope they make some improvements within the next coming years.

Finally got to try this coffee place out. Service here could have been better. We were not greeted once we entered. There was only one barista working on making all the drinks and taking orders. The barista didn't say anything to us while we waited to place our order. There was another worker in the back baking something but didn't help out with orders. Even when another customer came in, they were not greeted too. We decided to order two lavanilla lattes. One is with oat milk and the other with whole milk. My boyfriend didn't really like the taste of it but overall we both thought the latte tasted too sweet. I had to add some water in it but it was still sweet for my liking.

I was visiting family in Stockton when I checked this place out. It was in an interesting location, next to a Japanese specialty store. I really loved the vibe of the place, it was packed with people at 11 am in the morning, and there was a huge line which moved pretty quickly. There was a wonderful wolf dog inside and it was in its best behavior. This place has a diverse clientele and I felt very comfortable to be there. The coffee we got was amazing too. They had sugar free options and were accomodating enough to modify a few things for dietary needs.

Omg their Garden Bagel (pesto bagel sandwich) was aaaamazing! It was too good to share, but still ended up saving my other half to hubs so he can taste how good it is. He agreed with me! Their lavanilla latte was great as well. Not too sweet like others I've had. Service was quick. I'm glad I ordered online because there was a bit of a line when I got there. Quaint place, but definitely cozy for a chill hangout with friends. Would definitely come back again!

Love coming to local coffee shops the staff is friendly my favorite coffee is the golden latte with oat milk they have a cute couch spot and table in the back great place to meet up for coffee

Slays! Absolutely loved the food. Still dream about it, tbh. My partner had the lox bagel; the salmon was very delicious and full of flavor. I had the Dream Sandwich (on a bagel with bacon). Service was excellent and fast. The restaurant was clean and filled with natural light. Definitely recommend!

I do like the vibe here. Good tables and seating. Music playing is cool. I was super hungry and went with a peanut butter cookie. It was a good size cookie which I liked. I was hoping the flavor would have popped a bit more. 6/10. The iced americano was good. I wanted a cold brew but they were out. That happens with cold brews sometimes in the afternoon. I'm a big flavor guy and I was hoping for more flavor. 7/10The food looks good and the menu is good size. I would definitely return. I'm a bit of a coffee snob so this isn't a bad review for me. Location is near University of the Pacific.

I give 4 stars because the coffee is good. I ordered a cappuccino dry and it was pretty good. Nice coffee flavor but nothing too fancy. Everything else was 3 stars.You order at the counter. Friendly people, looks like everyone was hustling to get orders completed. There were 3-4 people working but it was the same person answering the phone taking orders for people standing in line. So the phone can ring after I've been standing in line and that person would get their order in before me. There were a few tables and chairs, and a couple more in the back, and a couch. No table service. They'll call you when your order is ready. I wasn't sure if I bus my own table or if they do. I sat at a table that appeared clean, then realized the diners before us just stacked their small rectangular trays to the side.Food wise, it was okay. I ordered the quiche which was displayed in a clam shell container with the date it was made (yesterday). It was served with really good potatoes! The quiche itself was heated but it wasn't heated enough. The center was lukewarm. But it had good flavor and you can tell it was homemade. My daughter ordered a yogurt parfait. She said it was good. It looked good. :)I'd return for the coffee.
