This is for the African American lady cashier in the front . She was just the kindest. I was really admired by her customer service and how she spoke to customers. I was having a hard time with paying cash, had a huge order for work and she helped me with no hesitation. This girl deserves a raise!

We had a not so great experience the other night when we dined inside Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen (on Briggsmore and Orangeburg). So, it all started with the dining room only having one full booth (which is more comfortable than the hard wooden chairs, or high stools), and one half booth/half chair. I will note that these were BOTH occupied by workers on their break. Not all customers are able to sit on high stools, and the chairs were not comfortable. I do not understand why they don't have more booths like other Popeyes. Then for the next FORTY minutes we tried to order from the app, and then the kiosk!!! The counter is NOT available for customers to make purchases. This is the only Popeyes that I know of, that refuses service at the register. I know there are signs at the other restaurants, however they will still help you order. We had to ask the same employee at least three times to help us order at the kiosk. She was very kind and tried to be helpful. However, two were broken and wouldn't take a QR code. We talked with the manager, who was very nice. We explained the situation and she explained how her hands were tied. We asked her if we order the special on the app if we could upgrade at the register and pay the difference. At first she told us the app would let us do this. We explained that it wouldn't. She said she would let us upgrade, but she must have misunderstood because then she said she couldn't do that.We had already placed the order and my parter was pissed at this point. I was pretty upset too, but I didn't want to cancel the order. So, we stayed. Furthermore, the coupons normally in the app at other locations were not available at this location! What the heck?!In the beginning, the manager gave my son a sample of the coleslaw because he and his dad had not tried it before. I do not like coleslaw. They were not impressed, mostly because it has dill pickles in it. They both prefer the coleslaw from the two top chicken competitors in our area (the initials one and the newest one).My son ordered the red beans and rice, I had never had this side dish at Popeyes before either. I thought it was pretty good. I love their mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes with the jalapeño gravy. The shrimp tackle box is still my fav, but the chicken strips were good too.The main concern the night we went was that it took too long to order. I absolutely hate that most businesses are taking the customer service away from their customers. T.B., another fast food restaurant did the same thing, and they lost our business. At least some places will ask or tell you to use the kiosk, and if you refuse they will help you. Even at other Popeyes they will help you at the register. One can tell they do not want to, but they will.Final words:I do not think we will ever dine at this location again. I feel bad, because they were so nice. However, unless it's drive-thru, I would avoid it at all costs. Maybe you should too?

Drive through order. 2nd visit 5-31-24.We swore we wouldn't be back after the first visit but thought that they were so new on the first visit that it may have just experienced a new crew snafu. That wasn't the case. 2 meals were $32.25 and what we received wasn't what we paid for. ( the same thing happened the last visit.) a 3 piece consisting of 2 wings and a drumstick. Lumpy potatoes. A biscuit with no butter or honey. A golden bbq crisp sandwich with bacon and cheese was ordered but the sandwich didn't have bacon or cheese. I ordered an extra biscuit, no butter or honey. Just a very poorly run restaurant that in my opinion is overly priced. The speaker at the drive through is terrible and you have to repeat everything multiple times. This restaurant is Not worth your time or your money. I wish I had a better experience but it just isn't ran properly. I'd contact them directly but I won't be going back so I don't want to have them fix it at this point. I do not recommend. I tried to do the tellpopeyes.com review but the store removed their store number from the receipt so it won't allow you to do a review.

Fried chicken's been experiencing a moment (in San Diego at least) for the last few years. But there is nothing faddish about Popeyes. And this little Popeyes knows exactly what they're doing. I find it's better to have a snack before I go, just so I don't stuff myself like a bear prepping for hibernation. Crisp, juicy chicken, sides like I'd like to think my grandma used to make, and service with a genuine smile. It's worth a trip to city heights just to experience.

So happy there is a Popeye's there on this side of town. Yay :) So I just placed an app order for a classic chicken sandwich. And for having a new account I got a free side , I chose mash potatoes. Did it for drive thru. Girl working the window was very sweet. Order came out quick and was delicious! My daughter loved it. Will be back soon for dinner.

Every time I come here, the service is slow and my food is cold. I order online to get it quicker but there is no service to ask my for my order as it sometimes just is there while I stand there. It's even worse while the screen is full while the manager just sits there during lunch time. This is the worst Popeyes I've been to. No more . I'll go to another one from now on.

This review is for Popeye's on Briggsmore Ave in Modesto. The first visit was about 4 months ago and it was terrible. I ordered popcorn shrimp with fries from the kiosk. I waited about 20 mins before I asked about my food. They told me it would be right up. I waited another 15 mins before going back up to the counter and asking again about my order. They then tell me it will be another 10 mins. At this point, I have been waiting for 35 mins for premade food and they wanted an extra 10 mins which would be 45 mins in total for frozen shrimp and fries. My lunch break was only 45 mins so I basically wasted my lunch waiting for food I never received. To top it off the manager of popeyes a heavy set women heard my dilemma and instead of going to see what was going on she thought it was necessary to disrespectfully order around her employee about a fry he missed while sweeping. Today 1/23/25 I decided to give them another chance because maybe they were having an off day. I pull up to the drive through and there was only one car ahead of me and he ordered a chicken sandwich meal, they asked him to drive to the front of the building and someone would bring his order out to him. I should have known then that it was going to be something because they hardly had customers inside. It's my turn to order, the man taking orders asked if I could wait. I waited almost 10 mins and he still had not taken my order, but I did hear him say F**K. Thankfully no one was behind me and I was able to back out the drive through and go to panda which is right next to popeye's. It's safe to say that they need to replace the entire staff and get a real manager who knows how to run a fast food restaurant.

food come out fresh, just didn't appreciate the way the workers are in there. i order a simple chicken sandwich meal and it took them ove 45 minutes to make with no one inside the restaurant. just seems like the workers were purposely going out of their way to make sure I didnt get any service and when I finally did get some I ended up getting attitude from the cashier at that time when I was just simply trying to figure out where my food was. overall good food but terrible service
