I recently bought a Ioniq 5 N from this dealership and, unbeknownst to the dealership personnel or myself, my vehicle had a problem with one of the sensors.I brought the vehicle back to the dealership and the Service Manager, Vick, the Sales Manager, Kyle, and the owner of the dealership, himself really took care of me.The problem with the car gave them an opportunity to be Hyundai brand and customer service heroes and boy, did they step up.It turns out the dealership's owner is on Hyundai's US dealer network leadership committee. Where else can you say that Santa "sleigh-ed" your car service just before the big day? The team at Hyundai Tracy jingled all the way, spreading holiday cheer the weekend before Christmas. Not only did they wrap up my maintenance, but they also a fixed my power connection to my window in just a few hours. I even got to snap a selfie with the big guy himself. First they need to stop up charging! If you don't need it , don't try to convince people they do. How did I go for intermittent service and pay twice as much as when I got a major service done. I called and was told one price , when I got there I was almost $400 more , but then it was $900. They said they checked the tires ( but I just bought them). The service tech said now every 15k miles it will be $900 or higher. They charged me for an additive in my oil pan, ( labor and cost both too high). But charged me to do it when the oil change was free. I will only get my free oil changes there now. I will find a shop that cares and doesn't up charge you!! Plus they left a hanging sign in my car saying if you're not happy call the service manager. You guessed it. Of course I didn't get a call back. I blame myself because I truly thought going to the dealership would be best but boy was I wrong.

Went for a recall and was told it would take an hour but it took 2 hours and we had set an appointment for it. It should not take a long time. I had an appointment, and other people with no appointment was done before mine was. And usually they would fix my trunk and it wouldn't open up. But instead they would fix. The guy in the first table was not friendly at all.The previous employee was not there any longer. Don't know how to engage with customer. I wouldn't come to have my car service there.

I called Platinum Hyundai of Tracy to inquire about buying and installing a Tow Kit for my 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Night Edition and they quoted almost $1700 total, they also told me that they charge $250 per hour and that it was a 3 hour job. Then I checked Hyundaiaccessories.com and found that Stockton Hyundai only charges $1268 total INSTALLED. That's huge difference. I recommend you shop at Stockton Hyundai for your next car or accessories. Attached are the photos with Stockton Hyundai pricing.

DO NOT BUY a Hyundai. I am in the process of going through a nightmare with a Hyundai. They are trying to get out of honoring their warranty. I have a 2023 that suddenly died for no apparent reason. I have had the car less than 2 years. I purchased it brand new. It has only been serviced by Platinum Hyundai. No 2023 car should not die abruptly for any reason. Someone in the service department was extremely rude when I was directed by Hyundai customer care to call them. I just filed a formal complaint with Hyundai after dozens of calls to Hyundai customer care. I am waiting for a resolution. Do NOT BUY a HYUNDAI. Get a TOYOTA or a HONDA instead.

ANYONE WHO IS WANTING OR CONSIDERING BUYING A CAR HERE PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE THING.*****************************************Deceptive Sales Tactics & Unreliable Car - Avoid This Dealership!I regret purchasing my Hyundai Sonata, not only because of the mechanical issues but also due to the dishonest sales tactics used by this dealership. Archie, the salesperson, assured me that the car was in perfect condition, yet I quickly discovered multiple problems after purchase. Instead of standing by their product, Hyundai and the dealership have been dismissive and unhelpful.Worse yet, they illegally forced me to pay for LoJack, claiming it was "mandatory" when, in fact, it is not required by law. This is a deceptive sales practice, and I strongly advise anyone who has experienced the same to report them to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the DMV. I am currently gathering evidence and will be taking legal action soon. If this has happened to you, know that you have rights--any additional charges not clearly disclosed during the sale cannot be legally enforced, even if they made you sign for them.This dealership is not to be trusted. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere to avoid being scammed.
