Amazing!! Food was incredible. People were really attentive and polite. Place was clean and seating was spacious, not jammed in. I will be back!! Loved it!!

Food was yummy and they were great about getting a soft pretzel order out for my nephew fast! But it was FREEZING inside the restaurant which made things pretty uncomfortable, maybe because we were coming off a holiday and it being closed? You can order from whole menu, all day long, which is unique and fun! There's not a ton of options in the area but this seems to be a great addition that Pioneer!

We stopped in for breakfast this morning while visiting family. Arriving early meant we avoided the crowds, which was nice, but the place was freezing! We asked right away if the heat could be turned on, and the waitress assured us it was already on and would warm up soon. Unfortunately, it stayed pretty chilly where we were sitting.That said, the service was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly, our coffee was topped off regularly, and we didn't want for anything. The food was also great, so no complaints there.I did use the restroom, which is near the entrance, and as soon as I rounded the corner, I felt the heat blasting--but it never seemed to reach our seating area. Unfortunately, the restroom itself was very disappointing. For being the first customers of the day, I was shocked to find the toilet looking like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks and the sink covered in hair.The waitress and food were wonderful, and the building has a lot of charm, but I'd recommend coming later in the morning when it's warmer and (hopefully) after the bathrooms have been properly cleaned. I'd love to come back and try more from the menu under better conditions.

Went here again yesterday with my wife, her mom and sister. They all loved it! Food was delicious, service was great! And it was a nice homey feel and looking out the window was beautiful while eating. Outstanding place!

I have to be honest, Plate 88 is not the best. Their food is decent but nothing special. The main issue is service. I came in a few times in the afternoon by myself and it was OK but I also came in with a bigger party one time and there was one person on the floor attending to all the parties so the food took forever to come out and their wasn't a whole lot of interaction. I think the main reason people go here is the bar but I'm not 21 so I can't speak on that aspect of the restaurant. Overall it's okay but nothing special.

Had the fish and chips and asked for the fries cooked a little more crispy. They were real busy and it took longer than I expected, but was well worth it. It was cooked perfect and the fries were spot on. The ambiance was excellent, outdoor and indoor was very nice. Men's bathroom was nice and clean. The TV could be bigger, but mine at home is 98", so, not fair to judge. It was pretty much 5 star but the time frame and TV was all I could nitpick. . The place is new and I am sure they will adjust to meet the needs. The live music was outside and made good for the atmosphere. I'll will be back and highly recommend this experience. The location is remote and a good getaway.

Great service, generous portion sizes, reasonably priced. Food was okay- I liked my husband's chicken picatta better than my eggplant parm.

Food was delicious! Service was amazing (despite being short staffed). My dad accidentally spilt my wine & our server got me a replacement, no questions asked, & it was topped off the ambiance reminds me of a repurposed home, it was cozy, but very open in the dining area.

What a great find! We were just looking for a place to stop and use the bathroom and stumbled into this place.Great home-cooked style food. The staff could not have been friendlier. The owner happened to be there. They were adding a big sliding door and he was one of the most accommodating charismatic owners. Most of these guys owning restaurants seem so burnt out like they couldn't care less if you ate there.If you're on your way to Kirkwood or up to the mountains, I recommend swinging in and giving this place a try.

So good!!!!! Chicken Fried Steak is bomb!!!! Lovely staff and owner. Love the indoor/outdoor feel environment. Music was playing , people dancing and dogs were happy. Can't wait to try the prime rib.
