Inflation strikes again! The admission ticket is $20 (There are VIP admission tickets for $100...are people really buying these?) If you didn't buy tickets in advance...you will kick yourself because it's $30 at the entrance. I went today (my first time) with a coworker and we had fun. She pointed out in prior years, they had many more vendors to buy from. I ate (split the cost/food with a coworker to keep our cost down): BBQ oysters, calamari/catfish/french fries, BBQ ribs/greens, pinot grigio (only Dale Vino sold alcohol...their Villa Sandi(?) pinot was so good! And, I'm not even a fan of white wine!). There wasn't anything that I ate that tasted bad. So, that was a bonus! It's crazy difficult to find a vendor that sold bottled water. On a hot day like today in Pittsburg, why didn't anyone think of selling water? Missed opportunity for sure. I will say one of the vendors by the entrance sold water bottles. Everyone else sold lemonade, slushies, etc. What is that going to do to keep me hydrated?

This was the suckiest festival I've ever been to paid for...very unorganized no cooperation no theme just put together bad location long map was wrong n not helpful. The 1 star can go to the unlimited lemonade refill but $9?! The prices for all the food was way overpriced I would suggest no one to go here I was looking forward to a fun great time but nope was nothing but a bad everything sorry not sorry but I've gone to festivals where it was free n there were so much to do n free the rides at this event for kids sounded iffy plus pricey again

I WISH THERE WERE MORE YELP REVIEWS BEFORE I ATTENDED THIS - Drove all the day from San Jose to get to this fair.Ticket to get in was about $7, if I remember correctly? When you walk in, it looks like a straight up flea market. All we drove up for was the food... and it took some 10+ minutes for us to find the booths. As soon as our nose led us to the food area, we basically went crazy... Seafood free for all! Calamari, garlic mussels, chicken teriyaki, crab cakes, sweet potato fries, popcorn shrimp, and... deep fried GATOR ON A STICK (Gator-- tasted kinda like deep fried pork)! (Each were about $5 or less)We inhaled the food, and decided to walk it off... to DISCOVER MORE FOOD BOOTHS! We were pretty disappointed that we filled out stomachs at the first area. Nonetheless, we still bought more food. HEY, why not? We drove all the way from SJ with traffic... More food: Ceviche on tostada, shrimp cocktail, seafood gumbo, and dessert. My only warning is that there are multiple booths with the same exact food item, and you should definitely ask for a sample before purchasing. Bellies full, and quite satisfied in the end.

September 11, 2010We had a nice time. An enjoyable small event, not too crowded with live music. If you buy your ticket on line, be sure to print a copy of the email they send you so you will have less haste picking up tickets. I would just pay the extra dollar and buy the ticket on site next time. The free shuttle from the Pittsburg BART was very nice, clean and convenient. Alligator on a stick, ceviche tostada, BBQ oysters, funnel cake, and shrimp po'boy, all very tasty. They had a not too bad beer selection with Diamond brewery and Sierra Nevada as well as the usual watery American and Mexican standards. Microbrew beers and most foods were $5 each.We will definitely go back next year.

Rude staff. Will not be coming back. We bought tickets for Saturday instead of Sunday. Too sick to travel on Saturday, and the event folks REFUSED to exchange the unused tickets for Sunday. We were willing to purchase new tickets, but were refused entrance because I was carrying a environmental friendly, EMPTY insulated water bottle. We turned around and went back home and will dispute the ticket purchase through our credit card company.

Went with a friend today and it was $13.00 for adults but $10.00 with military discount. This event was very boring. There were good vendors and lots of cable vendors who obviously never heard of Kodi. The entertainment was mediocre and perhaps, local. Plenty of police, CHP and security patrols. More city personnel than the general public. The food, BTW, was not that great and certainly not worth the $13 admission price.Advice: Get more art vendors and shore up the music/entertainment or attendance will drop. The weather was simply fab!

Delicious seafood !! My favorite was the fried alligator platter. Then frog legs and crawdads. Food was delicious, so many different choices such as crab salad, crawdads by the pound, fog legs, alligator, lumpia, bbq oysters, shrimp, garlic fries, calamari, lumpia, pancit, funnel cakes, ice cream sundaes, red snapper, catfish, sweet potato pie and the list goes on! ! The vendors were very good, for $8 you could drink all the lemonade and iced tea your stomach desired. I recommend going early to beat the crowds, and also because the vendors run out of food fast ! Lots of people attended this year, just like festivals from previous years. Bring your own chair because the had none this year, no tables or chairs at all. This festival is the best festival I have ever been to.The reason I can only give the sea food festival 3 stars is because they switched the location back to the marina and there was no seats this year. The festival was more crowded this year with less space, whereas if it was at the same location it was placed in 2013 there would be more room to walk around freely without bumping into people. This year's festival also had no loose chairs around. So basically you had to bring your own chair, or else you were standing up or sitting on the ground during the whole festival. I went home with sore legs from so much standing! Fix those two issues then the pittsburg seafood festival will be better.

Thought I would leave an updated review because the festival was so much fun to attend last year and I expect things to be just as great this year. The entrance price is totally worth it when you take into consideration that there's 3 stages of live music all day long and that there is jet ski races on the marina. The food is also really good! I've never tried gator before this festival and it was surprisingly good! It's a good place to bring the family because there's rides for the kids too! Also it was easy to take a free shuttle to the event and back. Overall had a great experience!

WTH!! Come on now! I know pittsburg can do way better than this! I have been to over 20 seafood festivals in pittburg over the years, and this is by far the worst! There were only a few vendors who actually sold seafood. And what happened to it being by the water! Hamburgers, hotdogs, French fries, tacos, chicken wings, chicken stips, etc. DOESN'T BELONG IN A SEAFOOD FESTIVAL! If I wanted foodie land, I would have gone there instead! And what was with that extra little gate yall had inside where I had to pay an extra 14.00 after I had already paid 15.00 to get in. No, No, No and another NO! Sorry I won't be back! My tradition is totally over!
