I don't like the vibes this grocery store gives. 70% of the time I am at this store I am being followed by the same lady and I have relatives/family friends that can vouch for me; they've had it done to them as well. I rather spend a few extra bucks on gas to drive down to Cost Less down the street. Greater quantities at a lesser value

I will drive into town before coming in Pioneer Market.. there's just so many negative things about this store that you can choose from to leave a review about..

They always have premade bakery cakes that are cute and unique ready for purchase. I tend to get a birthday cake last minute and they always have one that I like by design ready! Grocery store has most my needs but do wish they carried more egg whites and the bigger size. They seem to always be out.

The prices are very high for most items and the cashiers are not wearing their masks properly. Many of them are only using one tie and leaving their nose exposed. leaving the mask to hang over the mouth loose like a napkin. I am a nurse and can not believe this especially with cases going up so much and how many people they come in contact with and those people take all food and bags home. It's disgusting to see such a large transmission that could easily be avoided. DO BETTER BE A BETTER COMMUNITY MEMBER. The bathrooms also very gross and poorly kept I see the sign sheet saying it was checked but very doubtful the person actually cares.

I switched to Pioneer because the quality of meat was better than other options. WAS is the key word. The past month or two has been a nightmare. Chicken on shelves three days past the due date, ground beef with a little gristle. The big nasty was last night a package of ground beef that had been processed two weeks ago had a huge amount of gristle in every bite I took. At the end there was approx. two tablespoons of the stuff. Train your butcher team to do the job or get new staff. Disgusting. The produce section is not the best or the worse and prices throughout the store are high.

I ordered a cake from bakery, I was asked for a 10.00 deposit, was told a 1/4 sheet cake was 18.99, and 5.00 for fresh strawberries. When I picked up cake I was charged 23.99. Wasn't credited for 10.00 deposit. I went back to let them know, the box said price was 23.99. But now they said it was suppose to be 36.99. Wow what a price difference. Sorry but I've never paid 37.00 for a 1/4 sheet cake at a grocery in my lifetime. Wont be going back to this grocery for anything again. Very unhappy with explanation.

This is pretty much a one horse town when it comes to grocery stores, not a whole lot of choices. I found this store to be clean and decently stocked, especially so for a small town grocery store. Even though is a nice sized store I easily found the items I needed, the staff was friendly and efficient during checkout. As some of the other reviews mention thier prices are not the cheapest, however there are many small towns that do not have the convenience of having a store like this with the selection they have. When I'm in the area I'm glad it's here, you would have to drive a few miles to get to a store with the selection they have.

This is the best independent grocer you're going to find in the county. The staff are nice, the place is clean, the prices are reasonable for an independent, they have a large fresh produce section, and shopping their sales is an easy way to make a healthy dinner on a tight budget.
