First time here today. Small parking lot, decent size market with variety of Asian items. Shelves were fully stocked and seemed as if they had everything to Asian can goods, vegetables and Filipino cosmetics/hygiene. Seems to be more on the Filipino items, but also some Khmer too! I was able to find some good sweets for good prices. A lot of items do not have price tags so you have to just hope for the best or just ask. I did try the lumpia which was good and crispy. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Suggested some Khmer items and mention that on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays they bbq Khmer beef sticks. I'll definitely return and try it!

Food not properly kept at temp. Hot foods and prepackaged deli foods were not at safe temp. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Unpriced items are typically expensive. Difficult to get help. I do like the place, I just won't buy any hot foods or cold food because of improper temps. I'll definitely be back because of selection and from what I see its clean. Now cleanliness could be much different in food prep areas or storage. I hope this company survives but they better learn about food safety before a health inspector arrives.

Only come here if you expect to be ripped off. The lady in the cash register will make up her own prices and not honor prices advertised. She'll say it was for a different product or say the prices changed due to inflation. What a joke. Notice their products won't have expiration dates on them. And their bagged produce aren't fresh. Beware of mold!

Good for emergency drop by for something quick. This place is located in a corner plaza tucked in the weird side of sketchton aka Stockton. Not a place I'd go do any Asian grocery shoppings. Nothing was priced either. But then again the lady said they were transitioning ownership or something.

It has been two or three years since this particular store have opened on 8th and Lever Blvd I first went when they have opened a few months and I have gone few more times annually. Many times I walked around observing and I ended up walking away.. The same issue then is the same issue I found in the Yelp review- NO PRICES on most of their merchandises whether it be dry goods or canned goods. A few months being opened, I figured they would get it together and price tag at the least the shelf for each items. How hard is it to make a big sign or even to purchase a price tag tool, SMH. Who wants to go to a store only to find out you don't have enough cash to purchase what you need or want. I don't want to waste time by playing this guessing games. I found out I'm not the only one that have talked to the owner and or to the staff about being transparent in their pricing. I had just spoke to one patron that frequent the store. She said that many times she is in the line to help out other patrons who was short changed so they can purchase what they wanted. I'm writing this review to point out that the store owner have responsibility to us, patrons to be transparent with their prices. They had plenty of time to get the right tools to price their merchandise. I love supporting local small businesses, but not this one I refuse to go to a store guessing, even if this is the last Asian market in town. I'm glad that it's not the case- I can go up north. Thank goidness!!!

They should change the name of their business. It seems that they bought the store from Filipino people. The word "Pinoy" is of Filipino origin. And they are "NOT" Filipino. And they're representing our culture with false advertising! It is clear that as soon as you walk in the food is not of quality, and it's confusing to other people when they're different types of Asian foods. Not Filipino food. Don't get me wrong , I absolutely love every culture of food but don't make this false advertisement, using our culture for your greed. . On top of that making our Filipino people look like we're money hungry cause the lady at the front would be over charging you! That's not in our character. Terrible.

We drove all the way to stockton to buy this Filipino delicacy. Also chicharon. My husband have purchased there a couple times in the past. But It was my first time. The store is really crowded and unorganized i noticed. But bec of the convenience (right off the fwy) they seem to get a lot of business. I purchased 15pcs of balut n chicharon and other snacks. Cooked the eggs as soon as we got home. Noticed one cracked a little as it was boiling. My husband opened it as soon as they were done cooking and the pic tells story, we gagged upon seeing the beak and feathers. Normally they sell them under a few weeks so they shouldn't have been like that ready to hatch. Then went to much on chicharon and it was so tough that i almost lost a tooth. Waited a couple days to try out of curiosity to open another egg but it was the same. So all the batches are the same. Tried calling the manager/owner to report a few times but the worker kept saying they are never around. Left my number requesting for a call back but never did. I just wanted them in the future to make sure to ensure the customers are getting fresh products. In my case drove all the way to stockton and getting disappointed in what i purchased. Also it's not good to get a call back or response.
