Pine Mountain Lake Equestrian Center

My mom tried to make a reservation and couldn't get this place to call her back; found out there was some emergency with the staff member responsible for scheduling but they still weren't great after that about returning calls. Got a reservation and showed up before our time ready to go. Waited probably 15-20 minutes after our time with no one at the office and had to ask ppl walking around to get some help. Felt very ignored. Once we got service, however, the girls were very kind and knowledgeable. We had kids and they thoroughly explained to them what to do when riding. We spent most of our session mounting, practicing, and dismounting. The trail ride itself was a bit disappointing as it was barely off the paved roadway and only lasted about 15 minutes. But the kids loved it and we did appreciate the guides. Also need to note that they don't allow you to have your phones or any loose objects (cameras) while riding.

This is where I went to go horseback riding back when I lived in Groveland. It was always a great time. I do remember when I was little my parents signed me up for a one day horse camp that my sister loved when she was a kid, but when I went they were out of horses so they taught us how to clean horse stalls and stuff. But, other than that, my experiences here have been positive.

Great place to board. I've been here for almost 4 years now. The staff is professional and friendly. Their knowledge is impeccable as are their values toward boarders and visitors alike.

Such an awesome facility ran by amazing people who work hard to keep it as beautiful as it is. There's a well groomed arena two full barns, two round pins. They provide full care service. Horses get turned out everyday. Stalls get cleaned and waters always filled. Also It's in a beautiful location, perfect for visitors and open to the public for tours. They also offer lessons and trail rides and have an amazing string of horses to accommodate each specific rider. I've had the pleasure of having my horses boarded here for a few years and they are thriving such an amazing facility that I'm very grateful to have found.

It is a beautiful safe clean facility with phenomenal staff. Kendra is amazing with children and adults alike. Our experience at Pine Mountain has always been unforgettable and favorite memories. Thank you Kendra, for introducing a new rider to the beauty of horses and re-igniting a passion I had forgot I had.

We had an amazing time here. We had two 10 year olds, two 14 year olds, my husband and my mother who rode. The staff was amazing. I honestly can not say enough about them. We came two days before to see if the younger boys would want to ride as they were very nervous. They walked us around for about 45 minutes and let the boys pet/feed many horses and told us all about them. The younger boys loved it and I was so happy they shared their time and information with us. We came back two days later so 6 people could ride. We had 5 people working with us to teach the group how to ride a horse. Almost 1 to 1 ratio. They made sure everyone was ready to go before we left the ranch and picked the right horses for each person based on experience. One of the younger boys was scared and they let him ride with a staff member holding the horses rope on the ranch. They never made him feel bad and were so encouraging to him. I was beyond grateful and proud of how they treated us and each other on the ranch. Their love of horses and family like environment made this experience top notch. Next time we vacation in Groveland we will definite come back.
