Fresh and delicious. I have enjoyed everything I have eaten here and I've tried a few things. Broccoli salad is amazing but not always available. Service can take some time if you're dining in but take out is a breeze. When the weather cooperates it is so nice to sit outside. Spacious and beautiful

WOW FACTOR? Yes. Wonderful old house restaurant and beautiful groundsHAVE AGAIN: Potato soup (with various veggies) was just delicious. Half BLT very good.

If you're looking for a GREAT sandwich, this is the place! I've been here several times & each time I'm very pleased. Friendly staff, beautiful garden patio atmosphere & every sandwich was fresh and delicious. I'm picky about adding & deleting condiments, my sandwiches have always been made exactly as I requested. The Hollywood Tri-tip on their soft sourdough roll is amazing

Been raised in Calaveras County, my whole life. And not once have they disappointed me! Really love their sandwiches! Staff is always so friendly! And I love the outside area, because it gives such a peaceful ambiance.

This place is a hidden gem and a must stop for lunch. Sitting and relaxing outside underneath the oak trees is recommended. The food and service is excellent and delicious. It's a family favorite!!! ENJOY!!!

Made another trip to PPD and as always it was FIRE!!! This time, we got the beef melt, half cranberry turkey sandwich and a bowl of chili. 10/10.
