I asked for a recommendation for the best PHO in Tracy and quickly my coworker told me about PHO TOWN, only to discover the best BANH MI sandwich I have tasted since my creation. Why is it so tasty? It's the warm bun with grilled pork, cilantro, and sliced jalapeño, carrots that's made fresh AF. My next report will be focused mainly on the Pho Tai Suon. I'm salivating, just thinking about it this rainy evening. Shout out to Nathan!

The restaurant is clean itself, small but perfect for parties of 1-4. They seem to have sort of pho challenge because there's a winners/losers wall that I totally missed until we were on the way out. I'm from SJ and craving pho and this having some of the best reviews in the area drew me in. The service was fast though a bit inattentive until it was time to pay. No biggie. Overall pleasant experience with staff. First the spring rolls, they were EXTREMELY DRY, the meat was so dry and chewy as were the shrimp, the peanut sauce was VERY thick but I was hopeful. I stirred it up and then dipped my spring roll, the sauce literally tasted like unsalted peanut butter mixed with vinegar. Never in my life have a tasted a peanut sauce so bad. I instead, doused my piece of spring roll with hoisin sauce and gulped it down. We didn't finish it because it just wasn't good. The strawberry smoothie with boba was very basic but the boba tasted fresh with some bounce. I enjoyed the boba more than the actual smoothie. Now, the pho. They gave all the fixins on the side and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was flavorful. The brisket was tender and the tripe was the perfect amount of chewy. My only complaint is I wish I had received a little more noodles. But that's an easy fix! If you're craving pho, come here, but I wouldn't venture into anything else here.

The best pho in Tracy for me. People are always hyping up Saigon, but the quality of the actual pho here is better for sure. And the spring rolls at Pho Town are unmatched as well. Its a small, humble spot that cranks out the best quality food. You can tell where they pour in their focus. Its not on fancy menus or decor, its on the food, and it shows. Dont underestimate this place. Owner is always really friendly and chill too. Pho Town is a winner. Beer is not served anymore even though it is still present on the menu, as well as the pho town challenge is no longer an option.

Don't get me wrong, the food is good. But it tastes just like any other pho place. No taste that stands out and you have to have it again kind of thing for me. The grilled chicken was a little too salty. The Shrimp appetizer was really good. Fried to perfection. Service was really good. The server was very pleasant. The place is cute and small, the bathroom needs a good deep cleaning though.

Pretty small place. It doesn't scream of cleanliness. (I even thought this prior to finding hair on top of the chili oil and crumbs on top of the plates.)However, everyone here was welcoming and provided good customer service. Skip the appetizers, I wasn't impressed. I tried the Vegetarian Spring Rolls and Fried Shrimp Rolls. I was expecting more than just lettuce, noodles, and tofu in the spring roll. I was also expecting more than just a small shrimp inside a wrapper inside the shrimp roll...definitely wouldn't reorder. The pho was good; the broth was very flavorful. I had #5. It had a decent amount of meat, although a few of the pieces were a bit too tough. The noodles were obviously pre-portioned, as they came clumped in a ball inside the soup. The portion also seemed a bit small compared to pho portions I'm used to at home (in Sacramento). I usually have a hard time finishing my bowl of pho, but had no problem finishing the pho along with appetizers. I'd say Pho Town is a great restaurant for a tasty bowl of pho.

Happy to see another Vietnamese restaurant in Tracy! Pho Town took over what used to be Pho Minh Long in the FoodMaxx shopping center. I ordered Pho Town for takeout looking for a quick and easy meal, and got their Pho Dac Biet.I'd give the pho a 3/5 but I'll round up since it was for to-go and pho is usually better in the restaurant IMO. I liked how everything was packaged separately (the soup, noodles/beef, and the bean sprouts). I wasn't the biggest fan of how the noodles came precooked. Most pho restaurants I visit in the SJ area leave the noodles uncooked since the rice noodles can quickly congeal and become a mushy blob after cooking it through, and this was exactly what happened with the noodles I got. The broth was rich and flavorful but the portions of meat also felt on the smaller side.I thought it was pretty cool that they had a pho challenge here - it definitely doesn't beat pho in the South Bay but it does it's job for being in Tracy!

My mom recommended this place so decided to order to go for dinner. The food was okay . Luckily I have a habit of smelling my food before eating due to a few incidents before. What a bummer , I have no sauce to dip for my spring roll. The sauce smell sour.

I find this place as I was waiting for my pup to get his non-anesthesia teeth cleaning, and I was hungry. They open at 11am, but warmly allowed me to come in a little early. The place filled up right at 11, so it was nice I was able to get a jump on the crowd. I ordered Thai Tea, a favorite, and it was exactly like I had while in Thailand recently. (No Yelp in Thailand as I wanted to review there!) I ordered a pork sandwich as I was in a hurry and wanted to be able to take some of it to go. It came quickly, and was really tasty! I had planned on bringing half to hubby, but it was too good and I ate it all. Dan was very accommodating and service was good. I'll be back to try the Pho.

Quick, delicious pho and com tam (rice plate). I love their spring rolls and their egg rolls (fried) are outstanding. Must try - wonton soup, OMG, I wanna hug whoever makes this wonton.
