We love Pho O'clock! We love the garlic butter wings, I get the chicken pho, and my husband gets the combination pho, with a Bahn Mi sandwich for the kids. Always delicious! 10/10

We were mtg w/a friend who lives in Tracy. There was nothing open on a Sunday in Atwater (the 1/2 way point for all of us), so we decided on Modesto. This place had good reviews so I was excited since I haven't had great Vietnamese food in Fresno. Was hoping this would be a treat. But it wasn't. Service wasn't great. No one ever checked on us to see if we needed anything. It wasn't crazy busy in there either since we there at off hours. Ambiance is standard for this kinda place. Whatever. Pretty big menu tho. Decided to do appetizers for dinner. ORDER:Crispy Crab Cakes: There was no discernible crab in them. Not even fake crab. No real flavor inside. It just tasted of overly greasy crust. But it was crispy I'll say. Choked down 1 & gave up. Fried Rolls: Normally the thing I love most at Vietnamese restaurants. This was mushy inside & bland. Pork & Shrimp Spring Roll: Wasn't filled very much. Like barely there noodles. One section I ate had none but had white radish strips, so I thought it was just lettuce, pork, shrimp & radish. I don't like a ton ton of noodles but it needed triple the amt to be an avg amt of noodle. The best thing about this was the peanut sauce. I give them high marks for their peanut sauce. Fried got pork vermicelli & shrimp spring rolls. Her high praise was "they gave a lot of meat." But otherwise her reaction was "it's ok."Other friend got garlic butter chicken wings. I had one. There was no garlic flavor on the wings but there was a bit of garlic & onion on the plate w/them. Otherwise, they tasted like naked wings. I like naked wings & admit they were cooked well. She also got brisket & flank pho w/out noodles. She said meat was tender & delicious. I really really wanted to like them more than I did. This is only the 2nd or 3rd time I've ever reviewed something where I gave less than 4 stars. Not my cup of tea, but glad they seem to have found their audience since they don't have poor reviews overall. Happy for them. Still on the quest for good Central Valley Vietnamese!

The atmosphere is very clean, open, a lot of seating and the server was very welcoming and sweet. I gave this place 3 stars because I've honestly had better pho. The broth taste was okay and the noodles had a different taste to them which I've never experienced before. The tendon and the rare steak tasted delicious but it was those slight differences that made me rate it the way I did.

Because we can never have enough pho and always on the hunt to try different places. This place is a way off the freeway but the other spots that were closer we already passed. The name was cute so decided to stop by.I love the interior decorations. Very cute l.The place is spacious. Lots to choose from on the menu.Ordered a chicken pho as usual for the kids. The broth was very salty, probably either last night broth or one too many pinches of MsG. My son drank a lot of water which he generally does not. I ordered a Bun Rieu and it was a little too much on the MsG as well, definitely flavorful. They do not skimp on the shrimp (most places have one or two, there was 4 in mine). Haven't seen it too much but they added imitation crab also. The meat isn't shaped like a meatball that I am use to. There was also silken tofu. Give it a try if you like very flavorful soup.

I'll do it again! I found this place because the food in the hospital was horrendous. Luckily Yelp never disappoints. The name attracted me, and my wife was having trouble eating solid heavy food. I thought what the heck let's try it. This place was amazing! Pho was fresh and hot. Had all the traditional fixings. Basil, lime, cilantro, sprouts, sriracha and hoisin. I've never ordered the Seafood Pho so I thought meh I'll give it a go. . Fish balls are awesome, shrimp, imi crab. Just perfect. Spring roll had that peanut sauce that was just delicious. The veggies were fresh and delicious. The Bahn Mi.....Chefs kiss. I've had my share of sammiches and this one was the first I've ever had on a French roll that fills the takeout box. I ate half and half for lunch the next day. Get the Thai Tea. It's a nice dessert treat. We already made a second order from the place. They are fast and super friendly. The inside is clean and traditional Pho restaurant. Love it. I'm coming back. Doesn't matter what time it is, it's always Pho o'clock when you roll in there.

SO and I have come here thrice already in the past month and are huge fans! Pho O' Clock is located behind an unassuming gas station. The inside is spacious with clock decor (hence the name) and tiny hats hanging on the ceiling by wire. We typically order the following: - Grilled pork spring rolls - super fresh and great with extra peanut dipping sauce- Strawberry smoothie - the SO swears by the powers of the smoothie-making man here. The strawberries taste fresh and is super refreshing. - Pho dac biet - super comforting and huge portionWe have also ordered some other things like the fish sauce wings (recommend), the Pad Thai extra spicy (highly recommend!), garlic noodles, chicken chow mein, and garlic butter chicken wings. All are worth a try! The only gripe is I would also ask if their Mung Bean Coconut or Green Thai Tea are available and they say they don't have it the three times we've come.Coming here has become a ritual after our weekend morning bowling session and we look forward to being back in the new year!

Finally, I found a good place with good food and soups for this winter. We ordered Combination Pho, Crab Noodle Soup, and Wonton Egg Noodle Soup. All the soups are hot and tasty. Fried egg rolls are good too! I also ordered one portion of Combo chow mein Togo and it was really delicious. Young man working today was running around all the time, thanks him for a good service. The atmosphere is good, too! Definitely will be back because they got a big menu over there.

I'm writing this review because when I got home, I noticed my eggrolls were missing. I called and they were happy to help me out. when I arrived to pick them up. They said the eggrolls were on them. It was their mistake and they refunded me the money and gave me the eggrolls. they were super nice and I definitely recommend this place. Food is great. Prices are fine, staff is nice, and the inside is nice and clean.
