Perko's Cafe

Generally speaking, my experience with Perkos has been good. I like the food and the staff is very friendly. That being said their menu is a little too small for my liking and I don't go here often because I've eaten the same things too many times. It's worth checking out though.

This could quite possibly be one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten in. Everything was covered in dust (see photo of the TV that hung directly over our table), there were cob webs on many of the lighting fixtures, there were so many flies we spent much of the time batting them away from our food. To top it off, the food was mediocre at best. I give two stars because the waitress was nice, but that's about it.Given our experience there and the lack of cleanliness and flies, I am stumped at the 5 star reviews. They obviously had a completely different experience. I won't be back.

The muffin was dry and I could tell it had been put in the microwave. The scrambled eggs were powdered and the hash browns were burnt. It just wasn't good.

Good food and always good service. I came last week with 2friends it was there 1st time and they enjoyed their meals very much. We had breakfast.

My wife and I thought the fish and chips was very good (crispy, hot, flaky fish and crispy bot not hard fries). The price was reasonable, only $14.49...though we do wish we had more than two medium to small pieces of fish. Not much of a beer selection (coors and blue moon). But the service was friendly and attentive, though not overly so and the place wasn't too loud.

Love the food but the atmosphere is very scary... I am a black woman with a Mexican fiancé and in there I felt stares the waitress both times seemed very rude... just moved here and this place made my thought of it being a racist town didn't help.... Hope they can understand not everyone is white. Don't think I'd go back to dine in but take out probably. 9/10 food taste delicious.

This classic diner is a combination of simple Americana and local charm. The staff was friendly and working hard. Service was good and our drinks kept full. The food was ample and affordable. This is a great choice for simple food done well. We enjoyed our dinner and will come back again.

I went here for lunch, but it looks like a popular local breakfast spot where customers know the waitresses/servers by name. I ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich and fries and was satisfied with the classic taste and fast service. The servers were super friendly, and I agree with a previous review - it's simple food done well with a hometown feel.

There's definitely good and bad days here, but on a good day you just can't get much better for an American diner experience with a dash of nostalgia

Really good diner. The food is very tasty and the restaurant is clean. The service is efficient and attentive. We will go back!
