The only thing you'll be perched on is the edge of your seat, savoring every bite. If you're at Chicken Ranch Casino, Perch is the place to eat. Located on the 9th floor with its gorgeous ambiance, I literally felt like I was in a totally different city. The ribeye steak was perfection--cooked medium rare and the Hama Hama oysters were creamy and delicious. The oysters were the damn size of half my face. The lobster mac and cheese was a bit too salty at first, but shoutout to Amanda (the manager) and John (our awesome server) for making it right. They replaced it without any fuss, and the new one was on point. Great food, friendly service, and a laid-back vibe.

This is one of the best restaurants overall within 50 miles! We went here for my mother's birthday this evening and couldn't be happier. Our amazing waitress, Irie, gave us incredible service throughout our night. She always made sure our drinks were filled and we had everything we needed while never interrupting our dinner in any way. I haven't experienced this level of service in the area anywhere. I am lost for why others are reviewing this wonderful establishment so harshly. The food is expensive but they advertise their prices and the flavor matches the prices they are charging, especially combined with the extremely high level of service. (Please add the business to google to be easier to find and review)Now on to the food. Everything was spectacular. We started with some apps including the Ceasar, beet napoleon, and burrata. Everything was seasoned beautifully and for those wanting extra pepper they will fresh crack as much as you want, coarse or fine, tableside. The flavors were extremely well balanced, especially with the beet napoleon. The cauliflower gets a special shout out for being perfectly crispy with just the right amount of bite, not over or undercooked. The mains were also as good. The airline chicken, Tuscan shrimp pasta, grilled lamb, and eggplant was delicious. Everything was very well balanced. The lamb was perfectly cooked being very tender and incredibly seasoned paired with the chimichurri and having a great little addition of pickled beets and tomatoes to brighten the dish. The pastry chef is also on her game. She made an incredibly light and flavorful chocolate cake with whipped marshmallow and Graham cracker. The pumpkin bread pudding is more of a cake but it's great as well. I liked that it wasn't too sweet and pumpkin was the star. The amuse bouche was a salmon belly with pineapple salsa which was a perfect bite to start and the petit four was a great peppermint bark.Special mention the elderflower Collins was pretty well balanced and the tempest(?) Red blend was nice.I can only laud the service so much, but it's what made the meal worth it. The food is great and made all the better by an incredible staff.Thank you Irie for the great birthday dinner!

Incredibly disappointingThe service is slow, it took about 15 minutes to get water and meet our waiter after being sat down.I started off with lobster bisque soup & a tequila sunrise and it was delicious. Soup was very creamy but that's my type of soup. The drink was solid.I tried the wagyu burger and the beef patty was more rare than I had asked for and the center of the beef was cold. It comes with a weird sauce that really ruins the burger. I would stay away from this burger.I also tried the steak with lobster tail and it was cooked nicely medium rare. Just an average good steak.I think this place is okay but for the price it's really not worth it. The service is incredibly slow despite not many customers. Nothing special I can really recommend here, and the prices are really high ($110 for lobster tail added). If you're here for appetizers and drinks , it will be a good time but if you're here for dinner, you'll find tastier and cheaper 30 mins away.

Ambiance and Customer service is why it gets a 3. Food was bla1. Ribeye, my meal. It was cooked to perfection. But the meat itself had little to no fat in it and made for a very bland ribeye. For $65 I expect a well marbled steak. I also only had one topping to choose from. Really needs a better selection of meat or a lot more seasoning to pull this off. I didn't finish.2. Asparagus, Again cooked to perfection. Looked Fantastic. But very Bla tasting. Nothing great about the taste. We didn't finish.3. Crab Dish, Whatever yellow topping they put on it completely ruined the taste of crab. It was a very weird plate we didn't finish. 4. Potatoes Gratin, Looks great from the top. But it only had a layer of cheese on the top. Under the cheese was like 7 layers of potatoes that had zero flavor. Just thin sliced potatoes cooked with a light cheesy top. Should at least flavor the potatoes or put layers of cheese throughout. We didn't finish5. Salmon, was kinda odd to get a salmon dish with avocados on the top. The salmon was cooked well but it was a bit fishy tasting. Not bad, this is the only plate that was ok. Also came with skin up and out of the 100 times my wife has ordered salmon around California its never came skin up so that was a little odd as well. 6. Crab Cakes, they were good. But at $27 for two crab cakes a little bigger than silver dollars they had better be so damn delicious we cant stop talking about them. Not the case at all. 7. Lobster Bisque, This was excellent! Highly recommend8. Bread, Ironic that I would talking about the bread but it really was that good. Loved it. Hate to write this review. This place has so much potential. I feel they are working out the kinks so we will try them again in the future. We knew about 6 of the people working there so it was great to see them and the customer service was awesome. There was zero complaints on anything except the food was just not top tier like the prices they are asking.

The food and service were top notch. We got the caprese salad, pork belly, and octopus for starters. Had the pork chop, rack of lamb, and tomahawk steak with broccolini, asparagus, potato gratin, and truffle fries for entrees. All the food was fantastic. The servers (Irie and Julio) were attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend going for a special dinner.

We had a wonderful dinner at this very nice restaurant. Our friends who live locally, brought us to celebrate NYE. We had lobster bisque, wedge and Caesar salad, scallops, filet mignon, NY strip steak, shrimp pasta with a side of brussel sprouts and potatoes gratin. We were all four very pleased with our meals. The only improvement we could suggest would be the lobster bisque was barely warm so perhaps heat it up a bit more before sending it out from the kitchen. Ambience was great and service (Ashley) was fantastic! We come from the Bay Area so we thought the pricing was reasonable especially given the surroundings, food quality and taste. The espresso martinis and dirty martini pre-dinner cocktails were on point. Can't wait to return! Oh and we brought our own bottle of wine for a $20 corkage fee and enjoyed oysters on the half shell which were giant!

So sad to write this review because I was excited for a nice restaurant in the area. Thankfully we had been warned about the dress code, so no problems there. Had reservations at 7:30 and had to wait until 8:05 to be seated. We waited in the bar and ordered a sangria, but it was not good at all - very watery and bitter. It seemed like he had just taken a glass of wine and dumped a few orange slices in it. The bartender argued with me about what a sangria was when I wanted to get something else, which was awkward. When we were finally seated, it took an hour to get our food. My burger was ordered medium well and came out very well done. The outside was charred and inside was dry. The ingredient quality was nice, but not the temperature I asked for. Others in the party ordered a wedge salad that was not up to standard. With these prices, you'd expect to be raving about the food but all the dishes were mediocre at best. I hope they work out the kinks because it really is a beautiful setting. Don't think I'll be back for a while.
