Penas Taqueria

We needed some food coming back home from our Thanksgiving vacation, and found this gem of a taco truck. Needing some relief from turkey, pies, and all the other holiday food we decided to get some burritos. These did NOT disappoint. We got two breakfast burritos made with chorizo, and my son got the super burrito with chicken. That thing was as big as my forearm. This is a great stop if you are cruising through this area on 99. Gracias amigos!

Every time I drive through Lodi, I make sure to grab a bite at Peña's Taqueria. On my last visit, I ordered 3 Asada Tacos. The meat was flavorful and was topped with delicious salsa. The order of tacos comes with some radishes, limes, grilled onions, and a chille. Customer service is always so great and the cooks really put their best effort into every dish. The food truck is in a quiet and peaceful location that is very easy to access.

My new fav spot! I'm surprised I just found about about this place best Mexican food in Lodi hands down! quesabirria tacos are delicious can't wait to stop by and try more items... costumer service was great

Amazing food hands-down best taco truck in town. I've tried their tortas that are amazing, tacos are super flavorful, the pupusa that they make are so delicious and huge size

Birria ramen was delicious! My only complaint would be the ramen noodle ratio to the birria meat, I was completely done with the noodles and left with a whole lot of meat at the bottom of the bowl. I've also tried to breakfast burrito and it was a large sized burrito that could actually serve 2 people lol, however, I can't pinpoint it, but it was missing something. Overall, good food, and I'd go back to try more.

Best burritos on this side of town! VERY authentic and flavorful! 10/10 highly recommended!

Quick service, friendly.. awesome food, awesome prices, lots of food. Quality food..best salsa I think.. I've had their chicken tacos, great, breakfast burrito amazing, gordita is where it's at...but the asada nachos omg best nachos I've had and you can pick regular cheese or nacho cheese ...so good. Top 2 in Lodi for sure

The food here is delicious! Always order asada tacos but decided to try their chilaquiles this time and they didn't disappoint they are loaded with meat, it's a great portion, it is well worth $10. Very clean and great customer service!

Peñas is my favorite taco truck in Lodi. I've tried a lot of them but few have the same quality and consistency that Peñas has. I usually don't go to food trucks mostly because they have limited options and often poor quality, but that's not the case here. They have great refried beans, and salsa roja, which for me are a must. Also, breakfast burritos all day!Minus one star for two reasons: first, their pollo is steam tray like everyone else, not fresh grilled. Second, because you can't always count on the truck being at its spot.

First time customer.... ordered a Ham Breakfast Burrito.... omg! so yummyI surely will be back. Lots of good things to order!! Thank you!
