Paul J Betschart Park

Easy to park your car on the street next to Wackman or Betschart park and do a short easy walk around these two parks. (Betschart has bathrooms.) During the summer there are trees to provide shade in both parks. I like to challenge myself with an extra long walk throughout neighborhoods to connect five nearby parks - allllll the way to Lichtenberger. Along the way visited a local Starbucks which also has a bathroom. (Because you know these things are important.) Winter time causes some morning fog which gives some nice scenery. Enjoy!

I brought my 2 grandsons to the playground here and they had a great time. They have a neat climbing structure that consists mainly of ropes kinda resembling a web. They also have a few different spinning things that were fun in addition to the traditional slides and climbing structures.They have some things designed for younger kids and then some for older kids. There are benches available for adults to sit.

We had such an amazing time at this park with our 10 month old. She was able to go on the swings, climb through the yellow tunnel that's low on the ground, her and daddy went on the see-saw it was a great time and not far from our house. I love the soft cushy top which allowed our daughter to crawl around and not having to worry about her hurting herself. Our only concern was the wood chips and those are her favorite lol. But we watched her obviously. LolThe park itself is really well taken care of and I love love love the fact there's restrooms. I didn't go in them but it was nice to see they had some. Nothing's worse then having a good time and then having to leave due to a bathroom break and having to go home!

Well, we love this park. It is big and I love the location. It is a beautiful and well-kept. They have swings, slides, a see-saw and a lot more. The covered area stays cool even on hot days. There is a a men and women restroom, water fountain, huge soccer field, baseball field, street parking, bbq pit, benches and more. The trees are a decent size. It is a great place to have a picnic.I recommend this park.

Great park for the family!-Clean and with plenty of trash cans-Much shade -RestroomsMuch bigger than I expected. Though, I didn't check to see if the restrooms were open. We visited on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all.

Literally in my backyard this park is great for parties and just a place to take the kids so they can burn themselves out....also the cleanest park bathrooms I've ever seen

So happy to find this park to run off a 4-year old's high energy! Love the 3 play structures - including an amazing 20 ft climbing web. There's plenty of shade and having a picnic shelter & bathroom facility are huge pluses, too.

If you are looking for a great city park with good facilities, this is the one. Everyone who comes here to enjoy the outdoors is very friendly. If I can make one or two suggestions it would be for the city to allow people with dogs to let them run free but unfortunately in today society that won't happen.

Such a nice park to bring the kids of all ages. There are bathrooms and a baseball feild. Theres a picnic area with tables and a bbq area. Soccor feilds too. Always clean!

Hi. I used to believe this park was top notch and an amazing place to hang out as a kid. Sure, it's fine during the day and quite beautiful I must say, but DO NOT go there at night as there have been a multitude of incidents with actual ghosts. We saw black figures running at in humanly possible speeds. And when they went under the light literally 5 different people witnessed that this figures didn't show any details on there body under the light. They were all basically black silhouettes. Overall this park is good, just only during the day as this is a really amazing park. Just do not go there at night or you will LITERALLY see ghosts. You have been warned. K bye
