Papa's New Roost

This has got to be the cutest cafe in town! I loved all the decoration, inside and outside. It has a homey welcoming feel to it. Speaking of, the staff here is amazing. Shout out to the two little girls taking everyone's order, including ours. This made our day. They were so sweet and deserve a raise. The food took a while to come out on a busy Sunday morning, but it was worth the wait. I enjoyed the fluffy pancakes and tasty sausage. Probably some of the best breakfast sausage I've ever had. I'd definitely come back to eat here :)

As the name suggests, this is a cute little Mom and Pop. There is a lot of good stuff on the menu and they have a lot of different prime rib options (prime rib omelette, prime rib scramble, prime rib sandwiches, prime rib, etc.). My husband and I both got the chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns, it was decent, but they were very busy and it kind of felt a little rushed. The highlight of my meal was the homemade biscuit! I would go back just for one of those babies! My children got a Jr. breakfast and a cheeseburger and fries. The service was good, and all the signs and rooster decor were cute. They had a sign by the bathroom that said "Fluff Butt Hut" that we got a good kick out of.

What a great find! We love visiting the area and have tried many restaurants, but this is officially our new favorite for breakfast!! We came with a larger group and were seated in a very spacious back room that was perfect for our family. The menu is extensive and we appreciated the owner explaining different menu items. We also really appreciate how much is made in house, fresh, especially the corn beef hash which is delicious! The funnel cake waffles definitely live up to the hype, as do the pancakes, chicken fried steak and other items: everything was delicious and on point. Highly recommend if you're in the area looking for fresh comfort food. We will be back!

I called to place a Togo order and there was no answer. Not even 2 minutes later my phone rang with a very nice gentleman apologizing for missing my call and took my order. The food was so good. The homemade corned beef and hash is a must. Thank you for the great service and delicious food.

Food and staff are the best. There is a back room for bigger parties for charge, just call ahead!

The food was amazing ! Very fresh, tasty, and such generous portions. The coffee was perfect to start the morning. The staff were welcoming and kind. The restaurant was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed eating here, highly recommend! Delicious! Very impressed.

I keep going back to pappa's new roost. Today I was there for breakfast and I had something different than my usual. I ordered a omelette with hash browns and a biscuit. They have the best biscuits around. The owners and staff are so nice. Oh and they have great coffee. I live in Columbia the drive is so worth the food and I look forward to seeing the staff it's a great place overall.

Prime hours for breakfast serving we were able to walk in and get seated on the Monday morning holiday 2/17. The server was very friendly and welcoming. The place is smallish but well spaced out for comfortable seating. The Papas was full with customers as we finished our breakfast. The coffee was delicious. I do like my coffee hotter though. But still good enough for 3 cups :)The best of all...our food was delicious and cooked spot on. Kudos to the chef. I had two eggs broken yolk well, house fries with peppers and onions and crispy bacon, hubby had loaded hash browns for the meat lover and over medium eggs with a side of gravy. We don't live in town but will visit Papas New Roost when we come back in the fall!I failed to take pictures but the plates looked as good as they tasted!

We were visiting and came across this gem! Looking for a quality breakfast in the morning with amazing customer service, this is definitely your spot. Biscuits and gravy were delicious, pancakes and eggs were cooked to perfection, along with crispy quality bacon. Definitely coming here from now on! Thank you for serving great food with awesome customer service, that's hard to find now days!

Moved my daily morning ritual to Papa's a couple of weeks ago. Great food and they welcome new business. They even changed their opening time to 6:00 AM on the weekends. How's that for service!Tremendously delicious and generous portions.
