Hello,I was in the area and looking for a good bite to eat. I stumbled across this place as a good option. Upon arrival, I had a little trouble finding parking. There's multiple businesses there so parking is limited even with In-N-Out being next door, doesn't help much. Once I entered, I noticed it's a pretty tiny spot. Not ideal for groups. There's about 3 tables inside where each can hold 4 people, so max is 12 people. Their menu did include a lot of traditional Filipino food from pancit, chicken adobo, sisig, lumpia's and more. I got the sisig fries and it was good. I thought the sisig had a good taste and I did enjoy the sauce it came with. Overall, it was okay. The food was great and the workers are friendly but it's definitely a more takeout spot due to the size of the place.

It's summertime and I had a craving for halo halo. Naturally Yelp helped with finding a few places. Since it was lunchtime I figured I would try a few things. I would pass on the sisig fries. It tasted dry, even with the Urb sauce and the pork was not crispy. Chicken adobe tasted authentic and packed a ton of flavor. The longonisa plate was good but why wouldn't it be. Parking lot gets really full. The air conditioning wasn't working or perhaps they don't have it at all so the hot summer day was seeping into the small dining room. No bathroom.If you're looking for Filipino food, this place is just all right.

Food is okay but the take out service absolutely sucks. Do not leave their store without checking your food first. Every time we make the 40 min drive home we end up finding our food is missing an item or is incorrect. They'll lie to your face and "check" that the food is all there and correct then you get home to an entire side missing.

It's been awhile since I've eaten here and I'm happy to report that the food is still delicious!The sisig fries are still my favorite thing to order. I've noticed they added crispy sweet potato on top. The fries are thin and crispy and the sisig is juicy. And all the sauces plus the sweet potato make it a well-composed dish that's full of flavor. The sisig empanadas were pretty good! The dough was bread-y, in a good way, because it wasn't too thick. And it was stuffed with sisig. I liked the bit of heat from their hot sauce, which I think is sriracha. One order comes with 2 empanadas that are cut in half. It's definitely a shareable item. We also got the pancit, to my surprise also comes with lumpia. I like the mix of egg and glass noodles. It had a lot of veggies so this is a good way to eat your veggies lol. We also got lychee calamansi refresher, which was refreshing even on a mild winter day. There's not much seating inside, probably around 6 seats total. But it seems most people order online for pick up. We did dine in and got our food pretty quickly. And service was great! They made sure we were well taken care of. I'm so glad Papa Urb's has survived the pandemic. It's one of the few unique restaurants in Tracy. They're also right off the freeway so it's easy to get to if you're on a road trip. Though, parking there is horrendous. It's next to In n Out, so it can get really crowded, especially since it's a narrow driveway. And the McDonald's construction doesn't help either. It might be easier to park across the street and walk over.

We have dined here a handful of times through the years and were excited to order their well-loved sisig fries once again. We also ordered the tocini wrap and pork belly adobo. The sisig fries were just as scrumptious as we remembered. It's a large portion of fries with some yummy protein, a couple sliced yam chips and special urb sauce on top. My tocino wrap was truly delicious. It is filled with a lot of protein, cabbage, cucumber, and tomato all rolled up in a spinach tortilla. I had to take half home. My husband's plate was not what he ordered. The second item on their menu is pork belly adobo but his plate came with chicken. We were perplexed so we asked the lady at the counter and she said they don't serve pork belly adobo (odd, because it's on the menu). My husband had his heart set on pork belly so he ordered a side of BBQ pork belly. It was a good serving of little pork chunks but the texture was a little tough. My husband liked it better on the second day. There always seems to be a steady flow of people coming through this little place. Their food is quite delicious.Located right off of hwy 580 in a congested parking lot with In-N-Out and several other businesses.

The few times I drive towards Tracy, look forward to getting Filipino food. I still have to find a decent place to satisfy my craving. So I went this Saturday and was quite disappointed. Ordered the following: Bistek with rice- 3 stars: meat was ok but hardly any onions and the rice was cooked with too much water. Turon- 1 star: the banana used was terrible. I tried one and had to throw out the rest. You guys need to taste the banana you use. Pansit- 2 stars: the flavor was bland and barely any meat or vegetable. Vegetable put it in we're not cut properly.Halo halo- 2 stars: aside from the ice cream and shaved ice- none of the usual stuff just gelatin and barely any beans. Service was not bad but food (at least the ones I ordered) needs improvement.

My fries literally came uncooked all were soggy and pale white. How was the food even edible? It's not so I threw it away. Limper than me at 60. Fried need a blue chew

You can't get anymore incompetent than the employees they hire here. For over a decade the different staff hires have always messed orders up without fail.I phone ordered a beef lumpia and two scoops of rice and was told that the lumpia already came with rice so i would just be buying extra rice. Needless to say i canceled the order of the "extra rice" on the phone.I picked up my order and drove home only to realize there wasn't any rice included in the meal. Completely ruined my meal.To make things more mind blowing. I asked if i could "replace" the red sauce provided with the meal for a green sauce and was told there wouldn't be a charge for it. They charged me for it and couldn't figure out how to remove it from the transaction so i let it be. How can you charge someone for something when you say you're not going to then not know how to undo it on the point of sale device?I've been going here for over a decade now only because the food is great.I hate to leave bad reviews on businesses and have been reluctant to do so even when they messed up in the past (many times), but there is always a problem with my order. Not one phone in order has ever been correct and i'm not exaggerating when i say that. I even had them check the order and open the box to make sure everything was in there in front of me and they still managed to not realize they were missing the rice that was "included" in the meal.After being a customer for over 10 years I'm done with this place. I suggest the owners take this review seriously and start training their employees appropriately if they actually care about retaining their customers and providing quality service.
