Good food and great people. The owners are very professional, and they treat you very well. The pizza is simply amazing, as well as other food items.

Held our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it went off without a hitch! We had about 40 people in attendance. The food was fantastic (as always) and affordable! Their event coordinator Suny was easy to work with and they even offered a decorated chalkboard - free of cost. We were allowed to bring in our own cake. Very easy to work with! I would highly recommend for private events!!

The food here for grad party last weekend was awesome! Very clean and plenty of space. Highly recommend.

Held a baby shower for 45-50 people here on a Saturday afternoon and the venue was a hit with all of the guests in attendance. The ambiance is very inviting so minimal decorations are needed, and the staff and food were great! There are some great menu options that everyone is sure to love so you don't have to worry about anything but enjoying yourself. We debated for awhile on having a home shower or at a venue, and calculated that by the end of renting chairs, tables, buying and preparing our own food, etc, it would be the same cost as renting this space and we really had nothing to worry about but setting up our decorations and having fun. We also inquired about several other spaces in midtown (the mix, the park to name a couple) and this venue was significantly cheaper with a more versatile menu. The only complaint anyone had was that parking was difficult and there was no valet at the time we were there (2-5pm) but it's downtown and to be expected. Some people just paid a little to park in a nearby garage. Suny was the event coordinator and she was very easy to communicate with over email and was accommodating to all of our needs. I 100% recommend the Portofino Room for any type of event of up to 60 people.

My husband and I had our anniversary party at The Portofino Room this past Saturday and it was just perfect for our group of 55 people! We had a vision for a "cocktail party" and that's exactly what we got. The room was balanced with high round tables for groups to gather around and talk as well as two large round tables which were great for the older family members and pregnant friends! Suny, the event coordinator, was very helpful and made sure that everything was exactly as I envisioned. So many of my guests commented on how much they loved the space and the lighting. It felt cozy and yet everyone could move around the room with ease. The food was delicious. Everyone really loved the house-smoked salmon dish which was presented beautifully. The crab dip, fried raviolis, and pizzettas were obvious favorites as well. Jenna and Brian were the two staff members taking care of us that night and they catered to our guests needs by ensuring drinks were never empty, the food on the buffet table was always topped up, and empty plates and glasses were cleared quickly. I was so pleased with the top notch service but even more importantly that it was done with such warmth and authenticity. My family and friends are still talking about what a great party it was! This is my thank you to everyone working at The Portofino Room for making our night such a memorable one.

I booked the Portofino Room for my husband's 50th Birthday Party. Working with Rain was so easy - she answered all my questions, provided suggestions, and checked in the day of the event to make sure everything was going smoothly. Three Paesanos staff were assigned to the event, and they were all professional, friendly and attentive. All the guests loved the food (and open bar, let's be honest). Several guests didn't show up at the last minute (due to Covid fears), so there was a lot of food leftover. The staff boxed up everything and clearly labeled each item with reheating instructions (if needed). Overall, it was a great space to use, and it was nice to have a private bathroom and private bar. I would definitely use book here again for a similar event, maybe when it's time for my own 50th birthday party. :-)

We held our wedding reception here for 50 people and the space was perfect. The outside patio was great for drinks after dinner. The food was amazing and the private event staff were wonderful. I highly recommend the Portofino Room.

Paesanos catered a wedding for us off-site. The food was fantastic - many guests mentioned it was the best catered food they had eaten! It was hot and fresh and there was plenty offered. We also had appetizers served which were different and delicious. The serving staff was very professional. We worked with Suny planning our event and she did a great job. We would definitely recommend Paesanos catering for any event.
