Paesanos Catering and Special Events

I absolutely love Paesanos food so what could be better than having them cater an event?! Nothing.I've attended serval events catered by Paesanos including my own wedding! They did an amazing and professional job on my wedding day. The food was ready on time and tasted exactly like it would if I had been at the restaurant. The fried ravioli were a hit and you can never go wrong with their delicious salads and pastas. I don't even have a favorite because they are all so good! They were very fair on pricing as well and totally worth every penny!

My wife and I had Paesanos cater for our wedding reception earlier this summer and they were fabulous. We honestly couldn't have expected anything more from them. Rain, the manager we coordinated with was excellent and very organized. Throughout this last year she made sure everything was up to scratch, ensuring that we would, not only have the best possible food provided by their restaurant, but also the best possible service. ​They organized two wonderful food tastings for us prior to the wedding with ample time to make any adjustments or ammendments. They also facilitated meetings to discuss about logistics and table top rentals. The fact that they were very familiar with our wedding venue, Scribner Bend Vineyards, was the cherry on top because that added experience made things flow much more smoothly.Dishes that we want to highlight in particular include: the lamb lollipop, farmers market salad, blackberry crostini, and the rigatoni pomodoro.Overall, great food and great customer service.

Paesanos catered our wedding at Scribner Bend on 6/10/2023 and we are so, so happy with how well they took care of us. Rain was phenomenal during the planning process. She gave us excellent recommendations for how to plan the menu, the pros and cons of buffet vs plated meals, and which items on the menu were the best. There are a ton of options on their menu, and Rain made it clear that Paesanos can and frequently does accommodate a variety of diets (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut free) very easily. The pricing was transparent throughout the process, and Paesanos took care of coordinating all of the rentals through Celebrations! (including picking up and dropping off the plates, silverware, and linens on the day of)We were a bit disappointed with the tasting (done several months before the wedding), since there were a limited number of items available to try and we thought that some items were overcooked. But Rain patiently helped us pick items for the final menu and accommodated all of our modification requests. Our friends told us to expect that the food on the day of would be good but not phenomenal due to the challenges of cooking in large quantities, but the food at our wedding was surprisingly delicious. We could tell that all of the food was prepped with high quality ingredients, and cooked perfectly. The temperature, seasoning, doneness, etc were all better than expected. On top of that, the Paesanos staff were exceptionally professional and gave excellent service all evening. They even made sure we had a plate with each appetizer and a plate of buffet food, so we got a chance to eat AND spend time with our guests, get photos, etc. And on top of that, they packed up the leftover food for us to home (which we had requested).Our final menu:Watermelon caprese skewers - fresh and crisp, perfect for a hot dayFried mac and cheese bites - crowd favoriteFig and prosciutto crostini - my personal favorite, these were the perfect bite of sweet and saltyFarmers salad - super fresh produce, perfectly dressedChicken with prosciutto - we subbed chicken thighs for breasts (to have a juicier cut of meat) and they were deliciousMushroom ravioli - the best item on the menu, hands down. Several guests who don't like mushrooms went for a second servingGarlic mashed potatoes - delicious, another crowd favoriteSeasonal veggies (zucchini and squash) - cooked and seasoned perfectlyPrime rib - cooked exactly as ordered and so deliciousThere was a small hiccup on the day of - the guests who went to the buffet earlier got very generous servings of prime rib, and a few guests at the tail end didn't get to try it. But our guests were so happy with the food, we didn't even know about this until Rain contacted us afterwards and preemptively gave us a partial refund. The professionalism shown by Rain and the rest of the Paesanos staff was truly exceptional.Overall, we were thrilled with Paesanos from start to finish, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing to cater a big event.
