Pacific Judo Club

Very good place for learning judo. The club consists of a lot of judoka who also train at Ronin Jiu-jitsu which is located at the same place but they train on different nights. As a result these guys are good both on the ground and on their feet.It's a relaxed enviroment with judoka who also compete. It's a great place to get thrown!Sensei Urrea is a very positive and detailed coach who creates a great atmosphere for learning judo.

Pacific Judo Club is a great place to workout and learn self-defense. This is also a great place to release stress and to forget about any activities outside of judo.

This is a really chill place for Judo. There's some formality involved, but it's not as enforced as it could be. And I like it that way. Typical practice involves warm ups, throw practice/grappling practice, and free sparring. It's no nonsense. The class vibe is really casual, everyone is joking around, but when it comes to judo we take it very seriously. The class is run by two black belts, although there could be only one black belt on a given day. Class size is extremely small, but it helps because you get more attention. This club shares the same space as Ronin Jiu-Jitsu.There's both a kids class and an adults class. Class rates are very reasonable.EDIT- The kids class is fairly large (more than 10 kids). The adults class is small (about 4-5 adults)

This Judo club is awesome! Sensei Urrea is great with the kids. He motivates them to work hard, practice discipline, and to be proud of their accomplishments. There is a great family feel at the dojo, with everyone cheering everyone else on. There are classes for both kids and adults (13 yrs and up). I would recommend this Judo club to anyone and everyone interested in martial arts.

They are actually now located at 7475 Murray Drive, Suite 10 in Stockton and So glad I found these guys! They are a family oriented group who are serious about teaching not only their martial art but also building character, respect and self confidence. Nice group of people! Oh And completely affordable compared to other martial art places in our area!
