Owl Harbor Marina

So impressed with the updates to the Marina facilities. Farm fresh eggs and produce were such a treat. Friendly staff. Clean modern bathroom. Can't say enough. We will be back next summer. Thank you "Fuzzy Logic" Sausalito

We feel so lucky to have found this gem. After quite a bit of searching where to stay in the Delta over Memorial Day weekend, we contacted Owl Harbor and the wonderful owner, Devery, made space for us! We have stayed in a variety of harbors, however the ambiance, cleanliness and just overall perfection of Owl Harbor, is so much more than a berthing. She and her team have created a beautiful and relaxing destination in the Delta complete with a lovely lounge area, bikes and paddle boards that are available to borrow. We had such a great time we are headed back with friends for the Fourth of July!

You wonder where you're being taken, or kidnapped, on the way here! It's like the middle of farmville and swampville imo. We arrived and there's no parking areas. It's a one way road and there's a lawn that's BELOW SEA LEVEL to park your car if you don't want to park on the skinny road... D: Besides that, it looks like people are very nice and easy going here. Lots of boat homes.I didn't get to enjoy it as much as the other reviews but maybe next time!!!! I saw the video casettes (yes, casettes.) by where the harbor master is and it looks like anyone can borrow them. Like many other harbors, this one has a community lock and community. oh, and there were lots of floating plants and flowers that was choking the sailboats at the dock. Poor sailors are trying to get in but they get stuck..

The place looked nice but I had a funny feeling on my way down the road to the entry. I am very disappointed!! I only came because I was supposed to be checking out a boat for purchase and I believe the MANAGER was prejudice/ racist period. Prior to my arrival I was given a code to enter the gate by the person I was supposed to meet. I pulled up to the gate and the "manager" was about to exit. She sat in her car and waited to see what I was doing. I got out my car, went to the gate and put the code in then the gate opened. Me being nice, I let her drive out so that I could go around her and she stopped me. Came to my car asking a bunch of questions like who was I looking for, did I have the code to the gate, etc. Clearly if the gate opened when I put the number in then It had to be given to me!! Yes I'm black and I'm not a racist but you no when someone is being racist toward you. I believe she did that because I'm black and that's just how I feel because I wasn't lost, didn't look lost, nor in need of help. It was just my son (12yrs old) and myself. We weren't loud, driving reckless or anything and I'm sure she doesn't ask everyone the same thing when they come to the gate. She through off my whole vibe and I would never recommend this marina for any of my friends or family so they get this review and no stars from me!

Owl Harbor is one of our favorite destinations on our trips from SF Bay to the Delta. Easy access off the San Joaquin River on Seven Mile Slough. Guest slips are reasonable and the staff is the best. Complimentary fresh vegetables from the garden and fresh eggs are yours for the taking. The bathrooms/showers are new, clean and modern. They have free use of bicycles, paddle boards, kayaks. This is what Delta marina should look like. Thanks Devery and Jeannie for being such great hosts!

And now with swank new facilities! The office and restrooms are shiny-new and tastefully done. It's amazing how much better Owl Harbor has gotten over the past few years.

I second everything Georgianne said in her review-- but I must mention the fabulous community gardens filled with beautiful flowers and all kinds of produce. Devery and Kurtis maintain the crops and make the most amazing fresh vegetables available to anyone who wants them. We enjoyed cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, golden beets, summer squash, and basil. What a treat! Oh, and there's a chicken coop with a variety of hens and even a couple of roosters. AND there's a beehive at the far end of the property, so it wouldn't surprise me if fresh eggs and honey become available in the future.We were a little nervous going up Seven Mile Slough since our boat draws 7 feet, but as promised, we didn't have any problems at all. Yay! This is our new Delta destination. :-)

Just getting settled in but loving Owl Harbor so far. Staff is fantastic. Facilities are kept clean. We enjoy the wildlife and the peaceful setting. Our boat draws 6.5 feet but we managed to get in on a low tide. Georgianne and Julia R's reviews are accurate so I'm not gong to repeat in this review. We have our grandkids with us and this is a great place for kids.

There's a reason Owl Harbor Marina has been voted best small marina in the United States! The location on Seven Mile Slough in the Delta is quiet, serene, safe and secure. But it is Devery and her team who make the place magical. The large, modern marina building has luxury hotel quality bathrooms and showers, a massive deck with tables and complimentary gas grill for guests to use and an air conditioned lounge with extensive book and movie libraries. The docks are in excellent shape, are very stable, with water and electricity at each double-fingered slip. A weekly mobile pump out service is also available. The extensive property includes shaded picnic areas, complimentary bikes and SUPs and a gym. And best of all, a beautiful vegetable garden and chicken coop! Farm fresh veggies and eggs are given to guests daily and are such a wonderful treat. So Thank You, Devery, Kurt, Javier, Adam, Jenny and the 4-legged team members Max, Gus, Gert & Cap'n Jack, for making our summer at #OwlHarbor such a fun and relaxing retreat. See you next year!

This is the second year we have docked at Owl Harbor Marina. The location and facilities are almost as wonderful as the Marina staff who go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Thank you Adam, Curtis, Devery, Javier, and Jenny (and, Captain Jack, Gus, Max, & Gert too!). We miss you already - see you next year!
