Restaurant has 5 booths and 5 tables. No waiter you order at the counter and they bring the food out to you.I ordered the teriyaki chicken lunch. Came with a small salad, good portion of steamed rice and sliced chicken. Perfect size for lunch. Teriyaki sauce had good flavor , chicken was tender. Not bad for a $9.95 priced meal.Although I didn't order they have a selection of sushi, Chinese food and bottled beer.In the way out I was handed a fortune cookie and a free top off on my drink.Guy at the counter very nice.

I'm sorry but this has to be the worst chinese food i've ever had I read all the other reviews and Thought to myself it can't be that bad but I was wrong Ordered the dinner for 4 And it was definitely Not worth what I paid or even What I was expecting.I will never try this place again.And this was my first time not exaggerating.One of my children got sick from the food That explains why it was empty.Never, ever ever again, hopefully?This place shuts its doors

The food had too much msg, old chowmein, and soggy veggies. There is no real dinnerware only foam non biodegradable boxes and plastic silverware. The place is clean and the waitress worked very hard for what she has to work with. I do not recommend. 12-14-223

I started coming here regularly a few months ago to grab a quick drink and bite. The business owner is always very kind and engaging. The quality of the sushi is very high in my opinion. The seaweed is higher quality than most places locally and even the imitation crab, which I normally do not like, is delicious. I also enjoy the inside of the space. It is dark and clean and overall welcoming and cozy. I have tried a new roll every time I have come and I look forward to trying them all. It is pretty busy at dinner, they take many calls from friendly locals picking up their orders. If you haven't tried them out you should.

The best Chinese/Japanese food in Modesto. We have tried other restaurants and none have come close to the awesome flavor of the food from here. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who ask where to eat.

Our food was delicious! Very casual - you order at the counter, and food comes out in to go containers, and paper plates/plastic cutlery if you eat there. Will definitely be back.

This was a first and last for my family here. The potstickers were crispy, nearly like a chip.The chow mein noodles were dark brown.The broccoli beef was watered down in flavor.The fried rice was just white rice with vegetables mixed in.The sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken looked like they were from the bottom of the tray and a day old at the least, as a matter of fact, I don't think anything was freshly made and wouldn't be the least bit surprised if everything was microwaved, it was just all wrong for taste and textures for Chinese food.All portions were severely undersized.Not one of us in my house felt good after eating it, any leftovers were thrown out after. I don't recommend and I would not be willing to give this place a try again. If you value your gut, you would skip it as well!

Was walking my dog on trail nearby and my taste buds decided to stop by for a snack, Spotted this Japanese Cuisine and got some sushi, I asked if he had any deep fried rolls he said he did I ordered the "crunch roll" and it wasn't crunchy it was soggy wasn't deep fried it was cookedwon't be back again.

I used to come here in 1999 it was so amazing but now it's not I can go to Panda Express and get a bigger plate for same price.

You used to get a really good combo box for a reasonable price. Now I paid almost $20 for something I barely even touched. The steam veggies really threw me for a loop. What happened to the salad? Unfortunately I won't be back
