Visited for a special event. Black History Month art show. They will host another event for Marri Grad next month. Amazing music - both live performances and a dj. Good food trucks! Some were a bit pricey but I think you have to expect that at a small special event. The vendors were great. Event started at 11am and we arrived around 1230pm- parking was starting to get super packed. By the time we left almost 3pm it was nearly full! Picked up some wines from our favorite red vintner - Todd Taylor! Worth every penny. Love love love!

I've been to this venue before but I don't recall reviewing it. Old Sugar Mill is a nice place to hang with family/friends for wine tasting.There's about 4+ wineries at the venue. They host events year around and often have live bands playing with food trucks nearby. Today I was there for a yoga event but I wanted to be sure to let others know that this place. It is tucked away but one of Sacramento's hidden secrets.

We had the most incredible experience at The Old Sugar Mill for our wedding, and we can't recommend it enough. From the moment we walked in, the venue took our breath away. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning, with its historic charm and elegant beauty. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the venue all night long!A huge shoutout to Amy, our wedding coordinator, who made the entire day run seamlessly. Amy was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, ensuring that everything was exactly as we envisioned. She took care of every little thing, allowing us to enjoy our day without a single worry. It was clear that Amy was fully invested in making our day perfect, and she truly exceeded our expectations.Thanks to Amy and The Old Sugar Mill, our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. It was an unforgettable experience that we'll cherish forever.

Checked in for an event held here for Mardi Gras. I came on a Sunday. There was a 2 day event & I stopped in a bit later in the afternoon so it wasn't as busy. Nice place to hang out with friends have a glass or bottle of wine. There's plenty of seating outside. There's several wineries and each have their own tasting pricing.

The Black History Month at the Old Sugar Mill was fantastic. Plenty of African art to peruse, the band was excellent & great variety of food trucks. We had fun sitting on the lawn, sipping wine from Todd Taylor & Bump City while snacking on sweet plantain chips.

The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg is an absolutely stunning venue! Every time I visit, I'm reminded of how special this place is. I've attended several events here, and the atmosphere never fails to impress. The rustic charm, historic architecture, and scenic surroundings create the perfect backdrop for any occasion.The indoor spaces are beautifully designed with exposed brick and high ceilings, while the outdoor areas offer gorgeous views of the vineyards. Whether it's a wedding, wine tasting, or a community event, the Old Sugar Mill consistently provides a memorable experience. I always look forward to coming back!

September 7, 2024 Hand-Blown Glass Pumpkin Patch Event (September 7 & 8, 2024)We made our way to the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg specifically for the Hand-Blown Glass Pumpkin Patch. We decided to walk through the building past all the wine tasting rooms and head out to to the "pumpkin patch" first. The pumpkins were displayed on hay bales, and let me say that never have I ever seen so many blown-glass pumpkins! So many choices, all sizes and colors, with prices ranging from $38-800. I chose a small butternut squash shaped beauty, which was $45. One and done for me, but there were a few people with baskets who had selected quite a few to take home.Purchase made, we headed back into the building with the idea of tasting a bit of wine (we're here, so why not, right?). With 14 wineries to choose from, it was a bit overwhelming at first to decide which two (our self-imposed limit) to try. We chose Three Wine Company and Bump City. Friendly service and good wines at both, and we took two bottles of wine home from each.The visit made for a very fun and enjoyable excursion. Well worth the drive out to Clarksburg.

The Old Sugar Mill, Clarksburg , CA - September 7, 2024We came here on a Saturday morning to see an amazing display of handblown glass pumpkins. Not sure how many pumpkins there were, but it had to be in the thousands. We spent a little time pouring over all of the displays and end up buying a small one for our fall season collection. The checkout service was very efficient. They had live music and food trucks there on that particular day.After checking out the pumpkin display, we headed indoors. They have several wine tasting rooms. We stopped in at Three Wines Winery and Bump City Winery to do some tasting. Both served very good selections of wine.

Hello, so we went here with my family on March 2 for the Mardi Gras celebration. Nothing against the venue itself as they did a well job with the band and food vendors. However, I did come across a company called Vino de Oro. The manager at Vino de Ora was very unwelcoming. I did sit down with a bottle of wine that I bought from another place, but I let her know that my husband was ordering from her. She walked away. Then I sat down in another table and she came back to me forcibly asking me if I'm ordering anything I told her I'll just get a Chardonnay and she came back took my card never gave me a receipt and walked away . I then had family that came over and we were saving chairs for and I let her know that we were going to look over and decide on which bottle we would order . She was giving complete attitude, as if she did not comprehend what I was trying to relate to her . She went to my parents and said " are you with them?" I clearly told her that yes they are with us and we are ordering a bottle of wine. It seemed like she cannot comprehend or I'm not sure what her issue was in particularly with my family. My family is a mix of Latino and Filipino. I don't understand if she has some kind of racial discrimination towards us or if she had something in particular with me in general. I was courteous to her, but she seemed completely irritable and even though we did order two drinks before sitting down my husband and I, she definitely pushed us away, and we went ahead and walked and took our business somewhere else . Horrible experience with Vino de Oro . I hope Old Sugar Mill follows up on customer service experience because that's very important in this industry.

So my family and I went to Old Sugar Mill for their Mardi Gras celebration and it was awesome.... EXCEPT for the vendor "Vino de Oro", this was by far the worst customer service I've received at this place and it was from the owner! This lady was super rude to my family and I, this was even after we bought a couple of wine glasses from this place. The owner... Omg, she was very pushy and giving us attitude the whole time. As soon as my family got there she was rude and I could tell that she did not want us there (Latino Family). She was very judgmental even though it looked as she was Latino as well. Anyways, that is not way to treat people. I was very disappointed and upset at the way we got treated by this vendor. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS VENDOR. Old Sugar Mill please get rid of them. I will make sure to let everyone I know about this bad experience with them. As soon as I get an update I will change my rating. Sorry Sugar Mill!
