I came to Old St. Mary's Chapel on a Tuesday evening around 4:00pm for the wedding of my nephew and his fiancée. I had never heard of the chapel before (or even been in this part of Rocklin) but I was pleasantly surprised when I got there! The chapel is located RIGHT on the railroad tracks, so make sure to plan the ceremony carefully or you could be rudely interrupted. The chapel is super cute and small, but not too small. I would guess it could fit about 75 people or so sitting down and a small wedding party up front. The chapel was decorated nicely for the holidays (the wedding was in the first week of December) with candles and poinsettia in the windows and Christmas lights in the bushes in front. There is also a small area in front of the chapel to take pictures and cute steps in front that are great for pictures as well. There are bathrooms located on the grounds (not connected) and plenty of parking out front with street parking and some diagonal parking spots lining the street. My favorite part of the church was the bell in the steeple that you can ring, and that it wasn't freezing inside; it was the perfect temperature even in the winter.

My husband and I got married here. I grew up in the neighborhood and always loved this little iconic chapel, so when it came time to get married I had no question about where. It's gorgeous on the inside and out. The rocklin historic society rents the chapel for weddings and does a great job. I corresponded with skip via email and he was always very quick to respond when I had questions. I highly recommend St.Mary's for people who want the small chapel feel for their wedding.

Amazing chapel for a wedding, right out of a Hallmark movie! I provided audio for a recent wedding. The in-house sound system worked great. It was very easy for me to plug my equipment into their mixer, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. If you get married, they let you ring the bell!

My husband and I were married here last weekend. It was absolutely perfect! The chapel is just lovely, and the volunteers from the Rocklin Historical Society were a pleasure to work with. I was happily surprised by how easy and affordable it was, but mostly I was enamored but the chapel's charm. I can't wait for our photographs to be ready!

We found this chapel being advertised at a wedding show and decided to check it out. It was PERFECT. We wanted a nice venue that we wouldn't have to decorate, or just barely decorate, as it was all we brought in were bows to hang on the end of the pews. The place is beautiful, we held the reception elsewhere. This venue has a beautiful outdoor patio that is a nice size, no alcohol is allowed on the site. There is a bell that the bride and groom ring after they are married. This venue is a Historical building, not a commissioned church, bring your own officient, we rented by the hour which worked out great.
