I finally found my favorite sushi spot in town. Service is always great and attentive. It gets pretty busy for dinner but the food is delish! Their fried rice is the best fried rice I've ever had, so simple yet so delish. I've gone twice and tried different rolls each time. Golden Phoenix: would order this again and again! Ichi Ban is good if you want a lighter roll since it's wrapped with cucumber. Sassy and Dragon are both really good too but I think Golden phoenix is our fave.

FOOD: Both rolls we ordered were really good. I got a veggie roll and topped it with eel sauce and lava sauce. Made it taste sweet and spicy at the same time. Second roll was the Hawaii roll topped with a Serrano giving it the perfect little kick of spice. Ate both rolls and half of the spicy edamame. The edamame was topped with garlic. It's spicy so make sure you like spice before orATMOSPHERE: The setting is well decorated with a few tvs with sport games on. I have ordered from this restaurant many times, and the food is pretty good. Most of the items I ordered for delivery today were wonderful. We got the fried oysters, California roll, Crouching tiger roll, and the Rock n Roll. The following is a review of a salad. I ordered the Steak Salad and I'm very disappointed. The website has no description of this item, and neither did Yelp. What I received was a few ounces of unseasoned char-burnt steak. Sliced, over a bed of iceberg lettuce with no dressing in sight. No seasoning or any sauce on the entire dish. This in no way resembles a salad, other than lettuce under the meat. I'm hoping that maybe they forgot the toppings since it was a delivery order.

They didn't put cucumber into the California rainbow roll and they filled it with crab meat so I have it a 4 instead of 5. The soup was good, the miso soup was good and so was the hibachi. Hopefully they add it in the future to add some crunch to the sushi.

Daughter wanted sushi for her birthday dinner so I brought her here. We were in the Modesto area and this seemed to have the best reviews. It was a nice comfortable place and all the workers seemed nice. I will say when we first got there it took awhile for someone to come take our order. Not sure if they were just understaffed or what. But once we were able to order the food didn't take too long to come out. I will say that all the food and sushi we had were very good and satisfying! The waitress even brought my daughter a nice dessert for her birthday! If I ever want good sushi that is a decent price I know where to go now! I would also like to go back to try their Hibachi menu.

We came here based on previous reviews, but left disappointed. Experience was subpar. Rolls were pretty small for the price you are paying. The layout of the restaurant is nice but it's eerily quiet and the music is just instrumental Japanese music, so I'd say not the best place for bigger groups. Also anytime someone requested additional sauces or sides of foods, the taller sushi chef would say, "this stuff ain't cheap you know." I'm pretty sure he means it as a joke but definitely not professional especially when the restaurant is super quiet. This happened to us and a table near us.

I haven't had any issues with ordering this way. Walking into the restaurant, you just get this really clean feeling, probably cause it's newer. The food was delicious of course!
