Ohana Martial Arts is a great place to learn self defense. Instructors are well-known in the Kajukenbo world, and are very knowledgeable. Additionally, the school is very rooted in the sense of Ohana (family) and is welcoming to students of all ages. Both my son (11) and I (40) train here. Kajukenbo is a mixed martial art (Ka-Karate, Ju-Judo & Jiujitsu, Ken-Kenpo, Bo-Boxing, both Chinese & American/Western) originated in Hawaii in 1947, and is considered the Original Mixed Martial Art, as well as an American Martial Art.
