Oasis Inn

I paid $179 for one night in this hotel. I got to my room and the TV had no channels that worked.I called the front desk and he said that I was doing something wrong and volunteered to come to my room and take care of it. When he got to the room, he took the remote and could only find one channel that worked and it was in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish. he said that it wasn't his fault that it was the package that the hotel subscribed to.None of the major networks in CBS, NBC, ABC or Fox or part of it. No sports channels, nothing! I asked him if it was possibly just the receiver in that room if we could try another room and he said no. This was my room. They are very unaccommodating and unwilling to help make your stay better. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody!

We were in town for one night and would be coming back to the room late so only needed a place to sleep where I didn't have to worry about bugs and such. We actually didn't have much choice coming here - all nearby motels were booked. This room on a Saturday was $130 plus tax which is going rate for Best Western, Quality Inn, etc nearby. But these are not their rooms. They are small! However, they smelled clean upon entry and the AC worked. Maybe the shower was disinfected but I didn't want to risk it. She let us see the room before booking. I knew we'd be leaving early so I didn't care about the shower or bedding since I bring our own sheets and pillows, always. Registration was quick and easy. We only got one key card which was a little annoying. We don't separate but still haha. This place served our purpose and staff was fine to deal with. I'd stay here again, if I was in the same situation.I slacked again taking pics

During my recent stay at this hotel, I experienced several discomforting situations. As a transgender individual, accompanied by a friend who is BIPOC and part of the LGBTQIA+, our expectation was a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, the behavior of the hotel staff was not aligned with this expectation. A brief early morning visit from my roommate to drop off an item was met with an immediate and severe reaction from the hotel clerk, including a threat to call the police. My roommate had just opened the door and as soon as the door closed I got the call from the front desk. This incident, coupled with a general feeling of being under surveillance, raised significant concerns about privacy and cultural sensitivity. The handling of the situation seemed disproportionate and lacked an understanding of diversity and inclusion. Hospitality services should uphold the privacy and dignity of all guests, embracing diversity in all its forms.I encourage this hotel to reflect on this experience and consider implementing staff training focused on cultural sensitivity, privacy rights, and equitable treatment of all guests. Hospitality should be inclusive, respectful, and accommodating to everyone, regardless of their identity or the nature of their visit.

The owners were so kind to me as I had a five hour wait for my sister who was having surgery nearby. They allowed me to check in early and did not charge me extra. I really appreciate their kindness in a rough situation.

Very comfortable little inn. Close to Costco. Booked late in day because the pass was closed to Reno. Chose for price which was $40 cheaper than other places in area but they have a 7.8 rating and we needed gas at Costco. Room is small but everything you need. Microwave, fridge, ice, comfy bed, clean bathroom, good shower, lots of hot water. Heater/air conditioner noisy but work well. We had end unit so it was nice to have only one neighbor. One level so no one above. Busy street is close but had a good night's rest. Traffic started around 5 am. Office people informative.

The room was clean and accommodating!Included a convenient refrigerator and microwave as well.)!The motel surroundings and guests are very quiet!The overall property is maintained nicely!

Completely blown away by the price . I expected a grimy drug and hooker motel for the price and no deposit but was clean and crisp not a luxury hotel but all the amenities breakfast it was just shocking

My room is modern...clean...spacies..quiet., for the cost its amazing and I stay in many motels the past few years for work travel. The room has crown moulding, fridge and microwave. Highly recommend! I had trouble with my key (my fault) and had the office come and show me my error. If you're looking for the best place for the money...this is it!

5/5 stars. Very quiet hotel with good coffee in the morning. Very friendly workers always willing to make sure the customer is satisfied.
