Oakley Self Storage

I came on may 4th because I really needed storage out in this area, public storage was really no help. We decided to rent a spot here, best decision ever! The customer service was impeccable, we were helped by Christina, she went above and beyond. We're so grateful she helped us. I would recommend this place and to go to Christina any day, to anybody. She even stayed after hours to help us out. No words could describe how thankful we are. Thank you Christina! You deserve a raise. :)

DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE RENTING A UHAUL!Worst experience ever. They did not have my U-Haul rental ready at the time specified, delaying my move by 2 hours. Staff is rude and unprofessional. There are literally 10 other U-Haul vendors in Oakley, and my advice is to go with one of them if you need to be able to pick up a truck on a specific date/time.5/4/21 Update: I see the Manager replied, so I'm updating this to point out the perfect example of them not knowing what's going on. No one ever called me, and that's because I booked the rental online, where it stated I could use the app to pick up the truck before their (inconvenient) 9am opening time. On my moving day, the app wouldn't let me pick up the truck, so I called the U-Haul corporate 800#, where they explained that Oakley Self Storage messed up by not placing the keys in the truck and getting everything set up the night before like they're supposed to. I was made whole via an apology from U-Haul and a partial refund. Still, with so much (better) competition in the immediate area, it's just not worth the hassle dealing with this place.

I originally wanted my storage in Brentwood and I wasn't thrilled about the idea of having to store my belongings in Oakley. Even though it's the next town over, I just wanted the convenience of having my storage unit in the same town I live in. Long story short, I was convinced to use the new "state of the art" facility in Oakley. I'm glad I did.This is the newest storage facility in town and it's a great 'space'.. literally. You'll be immediately impressed the moment you walk in and meet Ricky or Dylan. Ricky is just plain respectful and kind (something that is rare in younger guys these days) and Dylan was so professional and prompt! To be honest.. their customer service is the reason I'm writing this review. They were very welcoming and genuine. They made the process a breeze and even gave us a box of free cookies. I was even more impressed when we went back (with our movers). After a long day of packing and lifting, the moving guys were very tired and hungry. The guys gave them cookie boxes and candies from the front office. Just great customer service that makes me glad I chose Oakley self storage after all!

Oakley Self Storage has been a great place for us to store all our household goods. When we downsized to our trailer, we knew we weren't going to be living in it forever and we're going to most likely move into a house later.This place was brand new and offered great deals. They even have a military discount for all the military out there! We got a 10 x 30 because we knew we'd end up putting more in as we moved into our trailer. There are gates to get in and out, of the storage area, that require a personal code that helps keep everything safe. The only complaint I have is their payment system sometimes messes up. We signed up for auto payments every month and it doesn't always come out or it might be the wrong amount (without our military discount). Whenever this happens, we call and they fix it right away. The staff is very friendly and helpful.I would definitely recommended this place for all your storage needs.

Whomever she is working today(6/6/21), she is rude as fck, been there a couple of times and thought maybe she had a bad day. Naw, this morning lady is flat out rude. I will never take my business there again

Beautiful, clean, secured facility!! I was stressed out of my mind when I decided to rent a storage unit and a Uhaul from here. Connie, Jessica, and Sienna were the BEST EVER!!!!! They were friendly, helpful and very patient with me..Upon completing rental agreement they gave me a box of girl scout cookies, and a cool bag!! I was very impressed and am forever grateful for there help and got me some AWESOME deals!! Absolutely am in love with this Self Storage and Staff...Did I fail to mention, When I returned the van on Saturday, they were serving Hot dogs, chips, candy and popcorn!! PS. You not only have to have a pin code to enter the main gate, but also have to put a pin in to open the elevator doors if you have a unit on levels 2 or 3. No pin, no go!! LOL Very Secured!! We felt very safe.-One way in and one way outThanks Ladies!!!

I can't say enough about the team at both Oakley and Brentwood self storage, I am sorry if I'm pronouncing your name incorrectly Emri, Kim and Christie are fantastic employees and individuals you cannot ask for a better response, care and attention. These people literally help people in need and as customers. To the owners who hired them you make a good judge of characters, I have not found myself in the right track if it wasn't for great customer service. The locations are always clean and smells sanitized. As for Christie nothing better than a person who really cares and very personable in a situation, she will help you anyways she can so that you may be able to have some closure of your move. There is nothing else I can say but I highly recommend these locations with these employees the beat in contra costa county.

Oakley Self Storage is a great place. Their staff is always very helpful and the quality of service I have received is strong.I originally got a ground level unit to briefly store a vehicle, then downsized and moved upstairs to a climate controlled space. Access is incredibly easy and everything was stored safely and coolly upstairs. And all at a VERY competitive price.I highly recommend Oakley Self Storage.

There is a rodent infestation going on. There was no communication at all until I notice mouse poop. I think they just don't want no one to know. The ladies in the office said I was the only one affected in my area. but I don't agree with that assessment because when I moved out you can see the trail that they used in the back of the unit going into the other units.

I just got a storage unit here after checking out another place down the road that was very rude. The lady here was amazing! She was very pleasant to talk with and treated me with respect. She answered all my questions and gave me a tour. The place was very clean and had a lot of room for trucks to maneuver. Their setup is great as it's a large u-shape, no weird corners to dodge. They also gave me the first two months at half price! Plus, when I described what I was storing, she helped me pick the right size. I thought I needed a larger unit but she suggested a smaller one. So I was really impressed. I would definitely recommend. Note that they don't have U-haul anymore, sounds like that part of the business was very difficult to manage. I didn't see any issue with the storage part.
