Oakies Board Shop

My son needed new trucks, bearings, and wheels on his board. Cryndee was so knowledgeable and helpful. She even let my kid help rebuild his board. We came from Modesto but it was totally worth the drive. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Being a big advocate for shopping locally when ever possible, I found myself needing a skate tool. After a quick search for 'skate shop' in Oakdale, I found this KOOL little shop. Loaded to the ceiling with the most unique, locally branded items. After getting exactly what I needed to adjust my skateboard , I found my self exploring the wide array of sandals, t-shirts, shorts, wake boarding, bikes, sun glasses, watches, super cute clothes, and the list goes on... This place is perfect for an active, sporting lifestyle gift that can't be found anywhere else in this area. Truly a gem of a shop, be sure to check it out. Customer service was warm, friendly, and quick to help without hovering or pushy sales. We will be shopping here again for sure! Support our LOCAL BUSINESS owners, now more than ever!

I love to shop locally. I personally feel everyone should help their community before going out of town. Oakies has everything you could possibly need for your board & then some. They also have other items likes hoodies cups etc... to choose from. The atmosphere is pleasant. The customer service is decent. The price is good.

If you buy snowboarding or skate park-related equipment, this is a good choice of a local store, rather than heading to Zumiez.I wanted to see the skateboard decks and related equipment to see what selection was available. It wasn't a huge selection but they had plenty.They also had gear for scooters, along with some complete scooters that seemed a bit too much.Shoes were at full retail and they had little cards in them, apparently to show an inventory of sizes--surprisingly, they didn't have anything I wanted in my size.They had plenty of clothes, sunglasses, and other items, along with friendly service.I'd think that people from Modesto, Riverbank, Ripon, or Escalon would be right over for their skating needs.

Very cute clothes, but unfortunately my experience at Oakies was not good. The shop owner followed me around the shop and immediately refolded the clothing I had just touched and was possibly interested in buying. It was odd and made me feel uncomfortable. I was ready to buy a sweatshirt but didn't because of the poor customer service.

This gal needs to be fired. 2pm on Sunday November 3rd. No music in the store. Myself and my sister and mom (30s and 70s) told us to leave the stroller at the front. Which I totally get but if you'd get off your butt you would actually be conducting customer service. Never got up or offered help. Extremely rude and is paid to work on her laptop. I manage a retail store in downtown Slo. She would be gone in an instant. Too bad this is what represents a nice small town company. We will not be going back.

I go here a lot and support a local shop.. spent close to 100 there.. Lady accused me of having something in my pocket.. way to judge a person for their appearance. Tattoos don't make people bad..

Cool, little shop. Not many like this left. They have small skate and snowboard areas and a good clothing selection. Support your local skate shop.

Worst customer service. Save your time and money by shopping elsewhere. Would NOT recommend!

Horrible customer service! Not only are they overpriced but they follow and watch you the whole time you're shopping. Don't waste your time and money going into this place!!
