Oak Park

I went walking here yesterday and I really enjoyed it. I will be back. It seems like a nice place to exercise, host a family gathering, or whatever else!

I decided to venture off and try out Nature in Stockton before heading back to work in Madera. I love visiting parks and just taking in the natural sounds of the birds, wind blowing and just having a nice lunch. However that was not the case here.I did not even get out to see what this park had to offer as it was it appeared super shady. I observed so many homeless folk doing weird stuff. One homeless due was crawling on the grass...maybe looking for gold? But he seriously was crawling on the ground for an hour. There were several homeless tents up and this place looked so deserted.This place could have potential if they rid of the homeless and banned them from camping out there. I saw a lot of people just chilling in their cars as they probably thought the same thing as I did. This park does get a lot of traffic as it appears it near by government buildings. I did not take pictures as it there was really no point to do so of how shady this park was.I definitely won't come to this park again but open to seeing other parks Stockton has to offer.

Parks a bit sketch but there have good things going on here like when the car show cars post up here or the ice rink is cool as well ! The playground is ok but could be better , my kids are content with this park but def not the best in town

Park has tons of fleas. The ground is uneven from whatever vermin are taking over. The kids play set was set on fire and was only recently "fixed" they painted over the Burt wood. The homeless ppl here start fires in the garbage cans and pretty much took the park over. Don't bring kids or dogs here. This is meth central. I used to live across the street. It's been on a downhill spin for a min. The police are always out here because of something. The last time they came it was because someone's van was set on fire.

I've been coming to Oak Park since about 1998. This park will always have a special place in my heart. As a single father raising my eldest Princess by myself, I would come here all the time with her, For my daughter's first four years of her life. It was her and I. We would spend countless hours playing in the playground and making beautiful memories. Oak park has an ice arena, tennis courts,basketball court baseball diamonds, and a swimming pool as well. On the left side of the park, is a playground and on the right side is another playground. As the years went on, I was blessed with two more children. I would and still bring them here. In a way, this park has become a part of my life. When I'm feeling down, I come here to Oak Park and sit and remember all the good times I had here. At this point in my life it's all about making wonderful memories and cherishing every moment I have with my three children. Until my last breath on earth, Oak Park will always be apart of me.Vincent D *VD* Life is Beautiful

Great place for the kid's in the summer with the pool area they have, lots of fun, safe environment, and a clean place especially with what is going on with covid-19, my kid's love this place they want to come hear everyday.

Oak Park Pool and facilities... When attending this pool, don't use the facility restrooms. They are NOT maintained! Cobwebs everywhere! Leaves swirl around in the breeze. No toilet paper. Doors don't lock. Sinks are dirty. No paper towels or soap. The toilets are filthy and there are no trash cans! I just don't know how a public use facility could be in such poor maintenance!

I've been coming here ever since I was a little girl, it brings joy in my heart to come back and see it in good condition. This is where we disc golf, have picnics, and family gatherings, I've even camped here when I was a girl scout.

Nice park. Company picnic in gated area. Area had it own restroom that was clean and well stocked.

My family and I stopped at Oak Park on the way out to Arnold to stretch our legs. It was a gorgeous day and we was impressed by the amount of nicely manicured grass and the number of trees around the playground. There were a few homeless in the park, but we didn't interact with them. The playground was fine for the kids, but there was some trash lying around.
