O'Brien's Market

I needed a few last minute thanksgiving items about a month ago & I saw the obriens ad with pumpkin pies for $4.99! I couldn't believe the price and on top of that it turned out to be one of the best pumpkin pies ever! When in the store picking up other items, a nice worker offered me a cart since she saw me with my hands getting full. Everyone was so nice! Theres just a really good overall vibe in this location. Bonus points for still having bakery bagels in the afternoon (plus they were still fresh & chewy the next day).

I love their deli department, the staff there is very friendly and service oriented. Mel is one of the jewels there, I can ask her about anything there in the case or fresh bread area she knows its ingredients well. The Deli salads are great ,Especially the Asiago Pasta Salad & Fresh Broccoli Salad too . Their Sandwich Menu is Endless and They are always super fresh & tasty . Give them a try !

We came to O'Brien's Market on Roseburg Avenue inside the Roseburg Square shopping center. Came for some sandwiches and a pint of egg salad. I'm soooo happy that there is a place that still has egg salad sandwiches!! It seems to be a "dying breed" around here. So, I purchase the container (ranging from 1/2 pint to quart) of egg salad to make a deconstructed sandwich. I eat it with wheat thins and bacon. They have bacon by the slice in the deli and it is delicious. I love my bacon crispy, and boy is it good! The last time I got the egg salad it was a little dry, and there were giant pieces of dry yolk-- yuck. Thankfully, this one was good.My son and his dad each had a regular sandwich. My son had turkey, provolone, spinach, black olives, some condiments, salt and pepper on a white roll. He likes a cheese bread too, but few places have that anymore. :( He really enjoyed his sandwich.His dad had a ham and swiss sandwich on a white roll. I don't remember all the trimmings, but he said there was a decent amount of meat on both sandwiches and was happy with that.I tried to sign up for their digital sandwich punch card, but I had some technical difficulties. Bummer, because we like to come here and would like to get a sandwich free. However, not much luck figuring it out. I think it is buy 10 sandwiches, get the 11th free. Almost anything free you can count me in! :)The Chobani yogurts were on sale for 99 cents! My son and I both eat those, so I was happy with that price. Obriens tends to be a more upscale grocery store. There motto is "the best place for fresh!" They are really good about making sure nothing in the store is "coded" or expired. They have a little clearance section where one can find cheaper items that are about to expire. It is nice on the pocketbook if you find the right item you are looking for!Oh, I forgot to buy the secret sale item. If you sign up for emails you will recieve a secret sale item and this week is a pretty good one!The two workers in the deli were nice to talk to and they did a good job preparing our food. Great customer service!My only small suggestion is that the meal deal (a bag of chips and a soda) be more clear. The person helping us said it included the chips in two places, we were excited to get the Doritos nacho chips, the cashier and the manager on duty said no. The combo price wasn't working at the register and we had to go back and get different chips. Kind of a pain, but not the end of the world. Thankfully, there wasn't anyone else in line.

I come to O'Brien's every so often to grab a deli sandwich, a bakery item, and to do some shopping when they have sales. The deli sandwiches are very good. Service at the deli counter is generally very friendly. My deli server tonight was exceptional. Service at the check out stands can be a bit hit or miss. Overall though, I have no major complaints. They also have a sandwich club where you can earn a free sandwich after a certain number of sandwich purchases. Be sure to sign up for it.If you are shopping here for groceries, their pricing is a bit higher with the exception of sales ad items. Their sale items are very competitively priced. They also have some items on clearance and you can grab a bargain here if you are lucky. Who doesn't like a bargain?This particular location is older and is not as nice as their other locations, but it is kept very clean. I often shop at the Dale road location which is larger and dare I say fancier.Be sure to check out the other shops in Roseburg Square while you are here.

Fantastic product line! The cheese department is dreamy, the meat department is Devine, the deli department is delicious! A very consistent excellent experience.It's fun just to go in a look around.

I have always loved a good O'Brien's deli sandwich , However I will never recommend or return to any store due to the off putting & unwelcoming service at the deli counter. Very rude and distasteful . Its giving VERY Much Racist. ZERO STARS

Two stars because this store is close and easy to pop in to for something quick. Sandwiches are also delicious and a great price.The customer service is seriously lacking though. I went up tot he cashier, no greeting, did not tell me that there was a total I had to ask if she was done and ready for me to pay. Zero smile.I'll continue to order sandwiches through door dash but untill their staff can mutter a basic greeting I'll stay out of the store.

Used to like coming to the deli for their turkey club, but had a bad experience with the pissy old white lady at the sandwich counter. She put my sandwich aside so that when I go to pick it up she could very rudely and loudly tell me they don't do modifications on the bread. I was surprised by how she talked to me, I just said ok and left. But what I SHOULD HAVE said is "if you actually read what I put in the comment, it said IF you're out of the usual bread, these other two options are fine." I only added that comment, because it's happened before where they were out of the usual bread they use for panini, and I don't find out till I get there, THEN they offer a substitution. I order ahead to get my sandwich and get out, so the comment is JUST IN CASE they are out, cause I don't want to wait.She then hands the saddest sandwich I've had from there, with literally half the amount turkey it usually has. Then as she turns to walk away, she's still b*tching about the bread. She ruined my mood for the rest of the day.Overall the store customer service is awful, unless your rich and white of course. It was never bad enough for me to actually want to take the time to write a review. Only the Starbucks workers and a couple of ladies in the deli have been polite, more so the Starbucks workers.The old cranky lady at the deli sandwich counter has never greeted me, like fine whatever, then when she does have to help me, she does so all huffy puffy. I have never seen that woman in a good mood, I get we all have bad days, but a simple hello wouldn't kill her.

Terrible store. If you're not rich and white don't bother coming in because they'll treat you like you're garbage on the bottom of their shoe. Greetings and goodbyes to all the older white people in front but once she got to me, not a single word. Don't give your business to this place.

Don't honor what they print in their Ads!Went with a copy of it,showed it to them and they still didn't honor it. Thanks alot for nothing.
