Great park. It has a huge field that stretches all around, so even though it's a popular spot, you still feel like you've got your own space. Sidewalk goes all the way around so perfect for riding bikes/ walking/ running. The playground is newer and perfect for kids. There's a basketball court too. One year, I had to find a last-minute place to hosts my birthday after my original plan fell through, and Northwest Park turned out to be the perfect spot. It had everything I needed--space, shade, and a great atmosphere.

Tons of open space today! And blue skies! Granted, it's Thursday so there's not much going on. In fact, there were a number of walkers walking the perimeter paved path. Yay alliteration. When it rains a fair amount, this place becomes Lake Northwest. Water accumulates quickly and it seems like it has nowhere to go. But we're not there yet. Anywho, to not cross too many paths of the walkers on the perimeter, my dog chose to walk just inside on the grass. Nothing too wet just yet and just as nice, mostly green. The center of the park looks to have well covered tables and a charcoal BBQ. But that was for when we actually shared stuff. Enjoy the park! Just keep your distance until we achieve herd immunity...if ever.

This seems like a great park. It has soccer fields and basketball courts, plus plenty of grassy lawn area for playing. There are two different play structures separated by a large drainage grassy lawn, one designed for 2 to 5-year-olds but with swings and perfectly fine for an older child, and the other more for older kids with monkey bars and rings and things that it certainly helps to be a bit taller but my five-year-old still enjoyed. Both have slides. There are bathrooms with flush toilets, but no soap or paper towels or anything. It's a nice large park with plenty of walking trails that are also suitable for a child learning to ride a bike.

This is a very nice park with plenty of benches and picnic tables, large picnic areas, playgrounds, a basketball court, and a soccer field. There are restrooms available as well. There is plenty of shade which makes it ideal for picnicing or taking a stroll. Its also close to restaurants, so sometimes we get takeout and have a picnic. My dogs love it here and I always see children enjoying the playground. Once in a while you will see a tweaker or two, so be aware of your suroundings.
