Northgate Park

My daughter played soccer at this park all season last year so we decided to come check it out yesterday to get out of the house.We arrived around 11:30am and it was mostly empty - I think due to the weather. We brought our dog along as well and she was able to be off leash and explore.This park has tennis courts, a pool, a basketball hoop, a baseball diamond and a big playground area with slides, swings and multiple giant animal figures to climb on. I had to drag my daughter home yesterday because she was having too much fun!It's big and spacious and usually packed during the warmer weather with BBQ's and birthday parties.There is street parking which can be a bit hectic depending on which time you go, they also have a small parking lot next to the swimming pool as well. It's a good neighborhood park and we always enjoy our time when we go!

Nice park! There are courts, field, big trees that gives shade, tables, benches, huge playground structure with part shade, a swing set, there is volleyball net available, there is an open restroom cubicle - you need a companion to know you are using it. There is a cemented part of ground which is good if you have trolley, roller bag or stroller; from road side to restroom and big tree seat and some tables and benches.

Cool park located in Natomas. After a horrible experience at a trampoline park in Sac, i took my son here right away to make it up to him. He loved it here. Fun slides, animal statues, and a big park to run around in. I will say the one thing that was not safe is the large spinning wheel. Its very close to the other parts of the playground, and you have to be on your tip toes to make sure your young ones do not go running in while people are on it, big safety hazard

Great for family time, sports/recreation, and taking a nice stroll with pets... always clean, safe, and well lit, this park offers a wide range of amenities, like indoor/outdoor soccer, safari themed playground, picnic tables and grills, ping-pong, softball fields, water and pool play areas with life attendants and staff, as well as ample space for large gatherings. Park has daily crews attending to grounds and landscaping. Typically busy with nightly and weekend sports trainings.

My 2 year old daughter and nephew enjoyed their time here. It's clean and a great playground for climbers.

Welcome to the south, natomas area that is. Northgate park is located behind American lakes elementary school and besides a public pool.They have updated this park over the last year, which was greatly appreciated and needed.They have 2 baseball courts, a basketball court, a ping pong table, a huge field that is open for anyone and the backside has another big field with a ton of soccer goals (no nets only for games cause they always get ripped or stolen). The playground is updated with new equipment. They also shade above it by some long tarp like things. (My kids call this park the "kite park" cause in a way it looks like kites to them. The seating has been updated as well and more tables too. There is a big spot for a bbq area if you want to host a party.The best part is they have a open restrooms, no port o potties here. but its a publicy run bathroom, so for guys its easy to use, i for woman might want to go before. ( we stand, not sure on the sitting cause i haven't seen any of the toilet sheets for sitting in the mens side) just a heads up! So recap quickly, lots of things to do, plenty of shade which is very good for the summer sun.

Northgate park sits right next to Doyle Pool & American Lakes Elementry. It's nestled within the neighborhood, at perfect reach families and those who enjoy out door activities such as tennis, basketball, and soccer.The courts are all clean and well treated and maintained. Not really many signs of destruction and graffiti. This is a park off of W El Camino/Truxel. If ever you're looking for a quick park visit while traveling... Consider this park. A lot of ample space I run around, walk the dog, and have a picnic. Northgate park is def a neighborhood gem. A picnic area is right next to the play structure (kindve shaded).
