If you live in the area this is a great park for a bbq or just to pass time. It's a 35.4 acre park- clean, safe, and a good size for running laps. This park has:2 baseball fields4 soccer fields2 playgrounds with sand areaspicnic areas with shade structuresbicycle trail2 lighted tennis courtsrestroomsThere is ample parking in the surrounding area and the park is extremely spacious for grassy outdoor sports. The park does get packed with people during youth soccer practice and game days. The tennis courts are pretty popular since they are nice and lights stay on until 10pm. I like that I can feel safe running or playing tennis here late in the evening.

Awesome park!!! A major reason I live where I do. Large fields where many sports are played, ( currently soccer),volleyball poles for bring your own net day, frisbee!!!!, etc. there aren't any large ankle breaking holes and the lawn is mowed weekly right now. There's only one bathroom that I know of but it's a well kept one. Near the bathroom is a snack shack I think but I'm not sure...it's very new and I've never seen it open. The baseball field was recently removed and I'm not sure why. There are 2 playgrounds that are great. At the southern one there is a sand area, at the north there's a rock climbing wall. At both parts there are areas with table for parties and there are BBQ pits placed throughout. There is a cement trail that links the two areas that is probably 1/4-1/2 mile long. There are poles with dog excrement bags placed throughout and I've seen few piles around. Tennis courts are great with lighting at night till 2200? but they're often in use. In the north area there is an area for flood control that fills during rains, it's totally cool ( but scary ), my son wants to kayak in it, is say it gets to be 5-8 feet deep. During soccer games there's a lovely Mexican cart vendor, the mangoes and corn are always delicious and we go just to see him sometimes. I'm glad I live nearby it's a good park and it doesn't seem to attract hoodlums which is disappointing but comforting.

Great layout of a park, and it has almost everything you need. Park on the street and you will find a ton of decently kept grass that has soccer fields, softball fields, bathrooms, plenty of room to run around the park, a play area, poles for volleyball nets and tennis courts with lights. The only thing missing is a basketball court, but you can walk further down to the elementary school for that. Excuse me while I go crank out a quick run (It's .8 miles if you run around the perimeter) and become the DUKE!!!
