Great place for a long walk. Haven't had any issues in these neighborhoods. There is a colony of stray cats along the route and some cute kittens right now. Everyone is nice, respectful and courteous thus far. Check it out if you're up for a long or short walk.

Easy parking with shady spots if you look for them. There was a water fountain at middle of the park, and tennis courts and children's area with swings for instance . A few long looping paths in the park, and some shade too. Not bad. Seemed like this park has been here for some time due to the size of some of the trees. Thankful to have discovered yet another pleasant park. Wish they had more features though.

On Saturday late afternoon my boyfriend and I took my daughter here for her friend's Spider-Man themed birthday party. They had 2 amazing playgrounds, 1 for the smaller children and one for a little older, both with swings, slides etc! They also had a beautiful large pond with a nice big fountain the kids enjoyed as it soot out as they ran past it, the got soaked lol! I really enjoyed seeing the geese as well swimming and seeing the beautiful flowers in bloom and beautiful dog statue hidden beneath the grass!I would highly recommend this park, the twin girls had a great party despite the winds blowing things about and my daughter really enjoyed herself and cried when the party ended!

Neighborhood park that is well used and well maintained. The playground area was refurbished 2 years ago. Lots of level walking trails. Two big covered picnic area and lots of picnic areas near trees. Tennis court, baseball field. Also hooks up to wildlife walking area. Walking distance to movie theater and restaurants.

I love this park. There is a lot of space and a lot to do here. It's relatively clean most of the time. There is a trail behind it that takes you on a lovely nature walk. And over the bridge there are sometimes turtles in the water. It's such a nice experience walking around or riding bikes. There are shade trees and plenty of street parking. Swing sets and benches. There is a covered seated area and basket ball hoops. A nice trail to walk around the entire park. I highly recommend.

This park gets busy and crowded but it's a great running or walking spot! The trail has been extended so it reaches Big Horn Blvd! There are about three different routes you can take and you can go as far or as little as you want! You can get a good 5k or 10k run here. The scenery is nice and the wetlands could use some love but overall great cardio spot! I always see families here and pets! Family friendly.

Sacramento has three types of parks, neighborhood, community and regional parks. I'm not exactly sure which category North Laguna Creek falls under but it is a very nice park. It is surprising large and has plenty to do! Some of the amenities include:Ball FieldBasketball CourtGazeboHorseshoe PitLakeNature Area with Interpretive TrailPicnic AreasPlay Areas:Adventure Play AreaTot Play AreaPondSand Volleyball CourtSoccer FieldTennis Courts - 2What I love most about this park is the lively atmosphere. It is definitely a nice relaxing park but there is so much life happening here. I often see birthday parties and bbqs! Lots of people use the many trails for exercise or walking their dogs. If you live near the area, make sure to check this park out.

Pros:Not a bad looking parkMorning tai chi with swordsNext to a nature area of sortsTennis courtsSand volleyball courtPickup soccer gamesCons:They don't let me do tai chi with swords The height of the rims on the same basketball court vary by 3 feet?!?Weird moat in the middle of the parkIt's scary at nightMeh. I wanted to like this park more, but it's quite scary when dark and, frankly, after watching Food Inc, it grosses me out. In fact, I wish I could give negative half stars for the dark version. I suppose it's okay for Elk Grove (obviously everything should be in Midtown), but being from Lodi the bottom line is: I know good parks in suburbia when I see one and this one is A-OK.
